Fighting Game Demos?

Does anybody know of any fighting game demos out there for any system? The fighting game demos that I own are: SFA3 for DC, SVC for Xbox, SC3 for PS2 and a few old DOA3 demos for XBOX. Even though these are not the full versions of these games, as a collecter as well as a fan I think it is pretty neat to have a demo of a fighting game. It is rare that a company puts out a demo for a fighting game. Most other games like FPS, Racing, sports or whatever get demos.

 When I showed one of my friends that I had the SFA3 demo for the DC he was like wow that is a collectors item, lol.  But I want to make a list of them so I can try to find people who have them and want to sale them or try to locate some.  So if anybody could help me out it would be a big help.  Thanks!

I remember owning a dreamcast demo disk with all sorts of games such as sonic, etc. It had a Power Stone demo on that disk. It got me into Power Stone

  • DreamCast Magazine had a Dead or Alive 2 demo, too.(I have it. Give me 0079:Rise From The Ashes and I’ll part with it willingy)
  • Star Wars Masters of the Teres something… was on the PSX Demo
  • KoF 95 also on the PSX demos.

I have a demo disc from some Xbox Magazine for Tao Feng and also for DOAU.

There was a Tekken 3 demo on the cover of the UK Official Playstation Magazine back in the day, I’d imagine it got released in the USA too.

Same here. It also had House of the Dead 2 and Ready 2 Rumble among other things.

I have a similar disc for PSX icluding Crash Bandicoot and Tekken 2. Only Lei and Jun were playable.

I also have this demo disc with Bushido Blade on it. Man that game was fun. Too bad I never picked up the full version.

Iron & Blood? The PS1 D&D-based fighter. It was on a demo disk.

So it had DOA2 on it ugh? Cool. That might be worth finding just to have it for the DC. I loved DOA2 for the DC. Wow! I never knew that there were so many demos out there that featured some of the coolest fighting games around.

There was a coverdisc DOA demo for PSX back in the day too.

I have an old disk with a demo of tekken 2, that was only playing as the two new characters in that. I think you could fight the other characters, just not play as them.

The Xbox Exhibition Vol. 2 disc has the Japanese version of CvS2 EO with everything but selectable bosses, online play and saves available. Also, the GameCube had a demo from 2003 labeled “Preview Disc” with SC2, Viewtiful Joe, Billy Hatcher, Sonic Adventure DX and Splinter Cell together.

What?! I never knew that. Im going to have to find that Exhibition Vol 2 disc to have that in my collection! I am going to work on a list so if you guys to give me the name of the dics with the demos on them and what system, then I could start on it. Maybe put them in order my year date and system. I will look for others as well. Oh and thankyou guys for the very helpful info. :smile:

What system was the demo for? Was it just that game on the demo itself?
