An award I’d like to see is “Most Surprising Player” or something like that - basically for someone who comes out of nowhere and dominates.
This year that would definitely be Eduardo Perez. Almost nobody knew who the hell he was before Evo, and he’s proven himself to be arguably the best Balrog in the world.
Yeah he is probably. He punished Daigos firbeballs every single time with dash in super or dash in ultra or just raw super or ultra. He is one of the few players making rog interesting.
I definitly agree with that kind of award. Eduardo would be up there. Should also include some stuff on people who have come out of no where to make a name for themselves, dominating is a little to much cause there aren’t to many people who actually dominate in a game like Justin Wong status, but it’s more of they turn heads when they play and give awesome comp to the well known top players.
