Thanks for checking out my event. If you have any questions feel free to drop me a message here on on the Facebook event page.
What a great weekend! We had a little lower turn out than we were expecting but we are going to keep at it. The advantage of a smaller turn out is that we were able to put a lot more of the matches on stream. We will be highlighting the games and uploading them to our YouTube Channel throughout the week. Unfortunately, due to day jobs it will take us a little bit of time to get everything uploaded.
You can find the raw broadcast at twitch.tv/bonebrakepromotions
Or, take a look at the brackets:
Killer Instinct
Mortal Kombat X
Street Fighter V
Now, on to what people really want to know, the winners! Below you will find the people that walked away with the money this past weekend.
Killer Instinct:
G4s P4ss3r and Zero Syndicate were the top two players who brought to the table a couple very close games. It was hard to tell who was going to end up on top but in the end G4s P4ss3r found success with Spinal/Omen over Zero Syndicates Jago/Shadow Jago.
1.) G4s P4ss3r
2.) Zero Syndicate
Mortal Kombat X
After running a Round Robin that decided the top two players in the form of Asddgd and GTG Danny Boy Peru we placed the players in a Best of 5 head-to-head match to decide 1st and 2nd place. After an impressive 5-0 run through the Round Robin stage Asddgd failed to clutch a victory over GTG Danny Boy Peru in the Grand Finals match with GTG Danny Boy Peru stealing away 1st place with a 3-0 victory.
1.) GTG Danny Boy Peru
2.) Asddgd
Street Fighter V:
After an impressive 3rd place finish at River City Rushdown last weekend Shin Akira took the number 1 seed at FIGHT! #2. He carried that run through to another 3rd place finish; riding most of the way there through winners bracket only to lose in Winners Finals to GTG Danny Boy Peru. Meeting Shin Akira in Losers Finals was King Khoung bringing a strong Laura through losers bracket after being knocked down there after his match against GTG Danny Boy Peru. King Khoung took a convincing win over Shin Akira with a 3-1 victory in Losers Finals pushing him into Grand Finals against GTG Danny Boy Peru. Unfortunately, King Khoung’s Laura was not able to circumvent the strong reads that GTG Danny Boy Peru and the strong damage from his Birdie play. Overall, it was a great tournament with some strong competition.
1.) GTG Danny Boy Peru
2.) King Khoung
3.) Shin Akira
A huge shout out to everyone that showed up. Shin Akira, GR Slappy, King Khoung, and GTG Jonny Two Straws all did a great job on the commentators desk holding it down while I was running around and losing my voice. Stay tuned to our Facebook Page for the quickest updates on our tournament schedule. We are currently working with the venue and other local tournaments to schedule the next tournament but at this time do not have a set date for FIGHT! #3.
