can someone tell me what all you have to do in order to get the level 3 sid to drop the steamroller special. i keep getting it and its interfering with a nice lil combo/reset that i believe i have come up with

Its a random lvl 3 drop, the rarest of the drops at that and does the most damage.

it definitely seems to be that way now…i guess i used up all my luck in training mode lol

Since skullheart is down, just some more random patterns and occurrences ive seen to be good:

The hml bombs>st.hp xx hornet bomber xx item drop is great and definitely the “bnb” go to bomb pattern.

But I’ve been experiment with holding the item drop from that exact pattern and wow… Just remarkable… With an item drop held, peacock is an offensive force of nature.

Not only that but ive easily found painwheels best assist for peacock its cr.mp. Once i have an item drop held i go on the offense immediately via double jump forward or airdash forward, from either of those i drop item and immediately call painwheel… If the item drop hit then painwheel will combo and its an easy confirm into fullcombo for peacock… If the opposing character blocks the item drop then painwheel will come out and put them in lockdown so that peacock can go for an easy overhead or a tick throw. I havent started to use the low yet cause i havent practiced the combo:

My other epiphany came about cause cisco said he used it… I used to have mucho trouble dealing with painwheel flying over all my shit… I tried using item drop, h bomb jumping hp… All to no avail… Just drops in the bucket… Finally i tried just spamming jhk and lol thats the ticket… Very hard for painwheel to deal with. So now the match is even if not severely in peacocks favor.

Next task i need to do is to experiment with peacocks super jump game… Her super jump jhk is different from the other variants of it. Also, though this needs painwheel to respect the jhk, an anti pw pattern ive started to use is jhk land and call item drop… If the painwheel stays there expecting another jhk…the item drop gets her and can bring her to the ground. Also… And this is awesome… Once peacock has a charged item drop it really messes with pw… She cant fly with the threat of lvl 2 or higher item drop… So her mobility goes out the window… This is so effective cause peacock can zone out pw with jhk while charging item drop from lvl 1 to 2.

As far as starting a match is concerned.

I have a lot of experience facing off against Fillia rushdown with a solo Peacock. The most success I’ve had stopping instant airdash Hp from Filia is with a jump back Lp. Beats it clean from a neutral standpoint and can be chained into a combo back onto the ground.
