Yoshinori Ono podrĂa desarrollar Rival Schools 3
El tĂtulo sucederĂa despuĂŠs de que salga Deep Down
I played VF2 the other day and I seriously cannot get the hang of that game. I donât know if itâs because Iâm too used to holding back for guarding or my whole game is off due to a lack of hitsparks. I find throwing and to be hard as well. Countering was hard, but then I realized that only Akiraâs counters are difficult. It probably doesnât help that the CPU is overly cheap too.
I see this post now, just he is really very far away from being a bottom tier character. Ultradavid thinks, he is high tier, I agree with this. It is for me a bit weird to say, he is high on a tier list, considering his earlier positioning on tiers, but hey, tiers aren´t written on a stone, they can change very fast, just like matchups. Fchamp said in 2011, Hakan loses against Sim 3-7, now he wins 8-2 according to him.
There are some guys saying that Gief for example has good 50/50s after a EX Green Hand and that he is aslo better than Hakan. What does it mean? Hakan, who can hitconfirm from his light normals(not CR.LK, unless it is a counter hit) into a **hard knockdown **is worse than someone, who doesn´t even get a knockdown after the EX GH. Every Gief would kill to get Hakan´s anti zoning options and ways into knockdowns lol.
Despite the fact that he has great mobility, bnbs ending into hard knockdown, can beat pokes with FA or the ability to cancel a dash into any normal(2hit moves can be also beaten now), many ways into a hard knockdown, great anti fireball options and tools, good footsies, the possibility to do a fullscreen whiff punish into hard knockdown loops, great range on SPDs, even a cmd grab against backdashs and jumps, he is still put into the same tier category with the likes of Hawk or Dan, who are lacking these options like 30-35+ characters of the game.
Saying âHakan is weak without Oilâ or âThe matchup is bad for Hakan, cause you can punish his oilups or he is weak without oil/once you overcome the Oilâ is for me like saying " A heavy zoner is weak, if he is closeup" or âThe matchup is bad for the heavy zoner, once you overcome his zoning.â It´s not a great compare, but it is always forgotten, how he has now a 10sec start phase, since he starts oiledup.
The fact that he is weak unoiled is part of his character design, the opponents have to find a opportunity to beat him and they have to overcome Oiled Hakan first at all. Characters like Abel, Makoto or Sakura are very often placed high on a tier list, despite some important problems in terms of defense(Hakan´s defense is quite decent, when he is oiled up, better than many would think), so therefore I got no problems of putting him into top 15 atleast(top 10 is possible imo).
Did I forgot something?
A good VF2 guide.

The other guides have flow charts that can give you an idea of what to do, how the game works.
Taiwan Step is a must. While the exchanges are fast, VF didnât start itâs option-select heavy defense until VF3, which continues today. So movement and spacing are put at the forefront.
The one juggle to get down is the PKG Juggle.
The main option select to remember is that attacks can double as command throws (which are unbreakable).
VF2 is cheap.
Also you can YT early Beat Tribes (starting with BT4, I believe) to see Vf2 being played in tourneys. Make sure the volume is low as they get loud as hell.
Itâs an unintended glitch that was patched. And even if it wasnât its rediculously hard to set up soooooo. Whatâs your point again? 3d games are just as valid as 2D games. Play Virtua Fighter or Tekken at a semi decent level and tell me it isnât deep.
Hakan is the best grappler in the game at the moment.
I recall Viscant saying that Phoenix is actually hard to balance due to the fact that she needs to die to transform. This means that her transformed state needs to be worth having her die. In other words, Dark Phoenix needs to be OP or else she isnât worth it.
well to have any chance against Phoenix youâve always had to adopt an âif she transformss Iâve already lostâ attitude. So the game becomes more about what happens before transformation and its pretty fun. The problem is, they nerfed Phoenix while making engine changes that make it harder to transform (TAC meter steal, overall lower meter gain). basically, itâs easy to prevent transformation, and even if you fail at that, you have a small chance of beating her.
Are you trying prove something with that video, or just showing showing something âfunnyâ with it.

The charismatic Yoshinori Ono, producer of the series Street Fighter IV , is known among fans by developing titles only fights. Ono currently produces Deep Down , an exclusive for PlayStation 4 has nothing to do with the genre, and seeks to provide the excellent quality of its creations of recent years.
"Well ⌠itâs true that many people are probably thinking, 'Of all things, why Ono is working on Deep Down ? ', and I would like to launch a PlayStation 4 that meets the expectations of those who think that. If you come out next year or the one that follows, I do not know, but Iâd throw it as soon as possible. "Said the designer in a recent interview for the Japanese magazine Famitsu .
What was interesting was what I said after the print publication asked if that could be seen as confirmation of Street Fighter V : "No, but it could be Rival Schools 3 [lol]. "
While it is true that Ono has earned fame for his statements troll on Twitter or other means, many times what is authentic sharing. Recently said he longed to develop a new Darkstalkers , something many did not believe until they presented a teaser with which proved that really wants to. Certainly, a second sequel to Rival shools , classic franchise that contributed to the genre of fighting with the combat system and combo attacks 2 to 2, is far from happening, but if anyone can conceive, is Ono.
Seems to be Ono just trolling as usual.
Seems that way.
I was hoping that a Spanish speaker could perhaps translate it better than Google⌠I was reaching, but hopingâŚ

Nothing interesting tbh.
What does it prove? The same thing your video does. Jack shit.
VF tech still being found out. Didnât know the additional rules of attack clashing. Among other things. Solid read.
ÂĄÂĄIn 1993, SEGA developped the first fully-fledged 3D versus beat'em-up game, Virtua Fighter 1 by Yu Suzuki, VF series have been widely accepted and also became mainstream in this area. In particular, SEGA introduced Virtua Fighter 2 (since 1994),...

Just wondering why 90% of the FGC talks like gangbangers despite most of them never having been in a real gang.
WellâŚPeoples accents and speech habits are usually a product of where they grew up and who they grew up around. Im guessing that what your getting at. Unless you went to a tourney and everybody was just making crazy threats all day lol
I was hoping someone could explain why they prefer one button throws over two.
Well cause then there is no throw whiffâŚsince if u arenât in throw range u just throw out a close normal. Tick throws are also easier this way, execution is easier as well.
Depends on the game as wellâŚI know CvS2 actually has âmissed throwâ animations if the opponent moves slightly out of range when youâre attempting a throw.
