FGC conspiracy theories

Basically, NEC was rife with rigging rumors for the MK tourney, with one of the dumbshits running the brackets telling top players he would put them against whoever they wanted. On this particular episode they get said dumbshit and one of the players he told on to harangue them for about an hour.

I cannot begin to explain how embarrassing it is to play MK and know that the entire east coast scene is under the thrall of this man-child.

The biggest conspiracy is how there are still people willingly playing Strekken.

You didn’t hear this from me but… In <redacted>, pot splits are more common than most people think. Especially when it’s <redacted> and his allies going to smaller weekly tournaments to pay the bills (house, internet, electricity, etc.). Off course, this brings us to the underlying problem: despite the fact that these guys are making a living off playing fighting games, it’s still pretty hard to do so. Only the very top players are able to do so through consistent wins (and occasional sponsorship and appearance fees).

this should be common knowledge at this point. sucks cause its pretty tough to prevent

The donation drive was really fishy. 68k vs 67k? Come on its not a 90’s movie where u cut the red wire and the timer stops at 0:01. And its funny how all the srk mods are always jumping on tweets like vultures circling their prey.

Because it’s fun and accessible and the new patch fixed many of its problems?

That doesn’t explain all the pre-patch activity. :nono:

In all seriousness though, a lot of people have been saying that it’s actually playable now after the patch. I’ll have to look into the change log.

WTF is this “coming of Triforce” nerdness? English, please.

CD Jr had to play his brother the second game out of pools. The way he talked about it I thought it was a way bigger deal than that. After pools was top 48. A game after that he was in top 8 of winners, and that is when he had to play his brother. it’s a pretty silly thing to be mad about. If you don’t want to play specific people you know in top 8 of winners, just stop winning. he said that he never had to play his brothers until top 16 at 4 MLGs, but Evo had around 4 times as many players, so…

And this is reason #4080 why not having the brackets permanently set when the tournament starts is bad.

I don’t get why people always complain about playing people they know as much as they do. Regional seeding is a great thing for making sure that you don’t play just the same old guys you always play locally. But it happens, and even though it sucks people need to learn how to deal with it.

Triforce. :coffee:

T-Kimura vs Cow ft10, mains, no toying, all out. This needs to happen to decide once and for all who is the best. BahamianKing can record. paypal sidebets. MAKE IT HAPPE–

oh wait, wrong thread

I get it at the beginning of a tournament. Nobody wants to travel x number of hours, get a hotel room, etc. just to end up playing the same people you always do. But deep into the tournament? Man up and deal with it.

you know cow would win tho.

yo relax

similar to the moon landing, the Daigo Parry was faked. check how Justin is mashing during it and his character wouldn’t stop kicking.

it wasn’t one bullet from a book depository, JFK succumbed to Chris G’s Oswald pressure

FGTV house was a former alternative lifestyles bed and breakfast. you can tell because some of the walls have a color dubbed “Ortiz pink”

Chris Hu is working for Perverted Justice

Despite what you may have seen, Marn has never played a fighting game and is actually a LoL esports ninja-agent

Oh shit.

What’s worse is that he tried to pull Wolfkrone.

The boom mic operator at the B4 ST tourney was paid to fix the match in Valle’s favor.

The boom mic itself was the product of ancient alien technology. No human invention could possibly be that distracting.

Fun Fact: HonzoGonzo is actually the best MVC3 player in the world, but he throws matches so other people can feel good about themselves
