I grew up playing street fighter in Chinatown and Downtown L.A. There are actually a few very good players that alot of people don’t know about. I can think of 5 players that are high level that no one has heard of. You gotta play high level people to be high level. But just like myself, they played just to play and I doubt they ever joined any tournies. This AE tourney was actually my first tournament ever.
im telling you bro, ive seen you around and i have a good ass memory. i know we started off on the wrong foot, but trust me, its just a little misunderstanding. there are like no arcades anymore, and the ones that are still alive should at least have working controllers… god damnit. anyways yo, nice to see alot of the past good players show up. maybe we can play more at cal poly some time cause i cant think of anywhere closer. no more v-games, pac-man, japan arcade, hi-tech 21. arcades are just a dream now hit me up bro, whats your real name anyways?
I know you’ve said you’ve seen or played me before, but I highly doubt it. I might live in South San Gabriel, but I rarely played Hyper around here. Maybe SF2 and Champion, but not Hyper. Never played Hyper at Pirate’s Cove, never played at pac man, never played at hi-tech 21… played at v-games once and I remember the guy I played against was playing Ken. I played at golfland once and that was for a school trip :).
I was around 12,13,14 when Hyper was out, so I didn’t have a car :).
That’s why I doubt ever playing you. I might forget faces, but I don’t forget playing styles.
Someone else also said I played him along time ago at golfland or something, but I don’t really go there, so there could be someone that looks like me and plays like me

his name is actually ken, LOL. he lives next door to me. i know a place with working sticks on HF. its at a hole in the wall coin laundry place. but the sticks are real good cuz no one plays. its by the montebello mall, in the same plaza the 7-11 is at. we should round up some players and get a game going.
Wolfe brothers… you guys should definitely come down for practice before you go to Japan. Maybe we can all discuss strategy to prepare against Japanese players.
yup, thats the one. but its on the other side where 7-11 is. not on the side where the card shop used to be. don’t bother just going to play, theres no one there ever. if u wanna get a game pm me or something. the card shop was old school, i used to play king of fighters there, the first or second king of fighter i think. marval vs xmen was there too.

The Fei-Long player also uses O.Hawk (he took out Gian with him.) One of the ST Bisons also uses DJ. Besides that there’s been very little switching/sub-character action.
Hey Norm i dunno if me or alex will be able to find much time to come down to so cal but during evo west we can definitely get some practice in, i hope youll show up there.
O. Hawk gains better c.LP and c.MK, block-forcing stand MP and stand HK, has more invincibility on his DP’s and has a j.HP with a larger hitbox - overall his match-ups are slightly easier compared to ST Hawk.
Good Job Wolfe Bros. You guys are solid players and seem to have every type of match up down. Still kind of bummed I didn’t finish of Valle when I stunned him with Blanka, but I am hoping to see all you guys at Evo west, so I can really play Blanka how I usually play him on controller.
