Don’t misunderstand me, I’m all for girl powah. I think if we replaced all of our soldiers with females(picked at random using something like oh say…selective service?), we’d have cleaned up the wars we’re fighting in no time. o.o
Shit, let’s scrap all of our spec ops and elite infantry too. A single female has more fighting skill in her left nipple than the entire 75th Ranger Regiment.

edit: Just finished the article, and don’t support the conclusion at all. If anything, it’s another thing in favor of gender segregated units(at least for the infantry) instead of no women at all.

Starship Troopers was deceptively critical about this. when Zim fought Dizzy, Zim wrecked that big dude like it was nothing and broke his arm- but when Diz fought, he let her get a hit on him and he only choked her out. when i saw the movie in 97 i was like “oh, that’s bull. WRECK THAT HO :mad:” then, 15 years later i learned that was the point.

No…you’re just somebody who doesn’t know that the care and maintenance of said vagina would be a big problem on the field. Us guys can go a couple weeks without washing our junk if we had to without getting some kinda fungus or infections (women can’t), and sometimes it comes to situations where you can either drink the water in your canteen, or bathe with it. A smart person knows hydration is more important than cleanliness. I would think an itching, burning vajayjay would cause at lease SOME lapse in attentiveness on the battlefield, where sand-bandits spring from crowds or places of concealment at a moment’s notice.

Its going to be like that simpsons episode where they had a Joan de Arc spoof, and she raped the English during tea time. You don’t get vagina cleaning timeout duuring war. It doesn’t work like that.
Do they serve as infantry? Cuz that’s what’s being proposed here. Lot harder than going into areas that were already tamed to do mop-up duty.

I’m not sure either. All I can find that is that as of 3 years ago, the ban on women in the UK infantry was still in place. Anybody else got an update on this?
a girl I know was planing on going in military but I doubt she wants to be a run of the mill bullet catcher…
