for those that have not seen the mago vs momochi match, her ya go. OnGODS2 Day6 #2, GODS godsgarden on USTREAM. Video Game Marathon
Wow Mago really stomps on him, his execution is so spot on, I am sure he knows the matchup inside and out.
Mago is definitely in a different universe compared to others on the execution of CW, HP FADC XX. at 42 or 43 min mark the CW, Hp cross up in corner was so so pretty
This just posted, very nice fight

check out nosone vs a top online japanese ryu. good match. a loss, but more nosone giving it away than the ryu playing better than him
He’s a… what?
Lol. I didn’t know this! We just had a decent connection and it said that he was from the US. I think we had about 6 matches, all losses, but usually within 200-300 health. I’d lose to him a couple times, fight some other people to win back points and then lose them to him again lol. Really solid Ryu. I just need to play sharper.
I smacked my forehead hard when I saw that I jumped INTO an EX SRK. The SRK was launched and then I happened to hit jump after it; wasn’t really a reactionary thing. I was expecting a fireball to chip, which I think is what he may have intended with EX Fireball…
yeah, he’s on shin’s channel all the time fighting all the big dogs. eita, tokido, daigo, etc
that has to make the ol confidence meter shoot up a bit. if you’d just played it slightly more solid youd have beat him
it seems he’s from canada, and travels to japan a lot, which would explain how you fought him
So there was a High Rollers tourney this weekend, got 2nd place.

best to watch from beginning to end, I play this Chun user every two weeks, and its such an annoying matchup. honnestly, you guys should watch the whole thing hehehe
and criticism is welcome!
Good fights, but you’re missing links from CW a lot. I think you got one cl.HP link but the other ones you didn’t quite get… Should opt for cr.LP xx Rekkas on a day when your consistency is low.
At first you were coming on way too fast. It seemed like you just wanted to get in period, despite the risks you were taking. Rekka x2 is something you’re using too much as well; Chun started to punish those after awhile. I think overall a more patient approach would work. You were able to walk her up to the corner with minimal effort towards the later rounds, which was good.
Another thing you might want to consider is just absorbing Fireballs until she’s tempted to come after you. I noticed that when you did do this, she did give up throwing fireballs and tried to approach. It may not be the ultimate tactic, but against some player types this will frustrate more than direct pressure. You can also Focus> backdash> LK Flame Kick to not only gain Ultra, but a bit of Super meter as well. Chun builds 20 meter per whiffed fireball, you build 30 per whiffed flame kick. Doing this would put you on top for both meters, at the cost of white health.
thx Kobra, i dropped the hp link only on the chun player, if u watch the rest, didnt miss it. Ill never go for the lp so close, since i got that link 90% of the time.
as for the advices on the chun match up, ill take that into consideration.
though i dont think ill ever bother to whiff flame kicks. It has too much recovery, and Chuns dash is very fast= free sweep/high kick for her
double rekka, yeah i always delay it to try to catch a poke, and do more rekkas from the trade at worst, sometimes it works, sometimes no : (
this match-up is not easy. I wish Starnab would also chip in on the matchup, cause he played my friend (the chun player) and id love to hear his approach.
Loll Ati7500 made it in VRyu’s Combo video!

yh he got seriously beat up on
Heheh everyone gets styled on once in awhile Some peoples just get watched over and over, its kind of like being in the beginning of the UFC show and they show the guy getting knocked out, just to be watched all season long.
I guess more good players are “trying” to use Fei. First Tokido now Sako as well:
Some ppl claim that Sako said that this was his fourth time using Fei…
I think Mago inspired them a little
sako busted out his fei for like 1 match in scr didnt he?
