Mago is second in terms of BP in Japan, right behind Daigo. Two of the top 20 players in Japan (by arcade rankings) are using Fei-Long. 5 are on Yun.

I don’t know what you mean 'cause at the moment, except Starnab and me, there isn’t “top” Fei player in Europe, just 2 or 3 “quite good” ones but that’s all.

ive read a daigo interview where he said what would equate to 300 american per month on average.

Fei is #20 most used character in AE with 2.3% of the Japanese players picking him. Mago has remained consistent as the #1 player in Japan, with Daigo trailing only a couple hundred BP behind. Still, Daigo holds the higher win rate.
One month in and the stats seem to be settling. Fei isn’t becoming significantly more popular overseas, BUT, the number one player is able to hold to top with him pretty consistently.
Here is the run down of the top 50 players, then furhter down has a break down with each char. and who is playing them along with if they have switched mains / who they played in vanilla. Also there is a “revised” teir ranking which I’m sure most people will be suprised with.

I don’t know how I feel about Mago and Fei Long. I don’t know how I feel about Mago becoming a mainstream character. But then again I like the moving away from shotos and other big characters. I actually don’t really know what to think. But I’m glad to be working on a huge tutorial for fei users, newbs or experienced players.
That shows how synonymous Mago is becoming with Fei lol.
I think the popularity of Fei will catch on when it hits consoles, and when that happens, I’m screwed.
