I just started playing Feilong more seriously. My PP sunk down to about 2300 from 3600. Sitting at 1100 BP with Feilong.
I think when AE drops I’ll take ranked more seriously - Reset or not.
according to the front page, AE is going to have a separate leaderboard

I played a few ranked a bit ago (Literally a few) and kicked some Kens about. They had around 3k bp and just chucking out Heavy Uppercuts O_o
When does it stop :L I didnt lose any but its not as fun as playing my better friends in endless.
I also got matched up with a 4k bp Makoto, whilst searching same skill. Now even though I won and want to play the better players how is that same skill as the like… 500bp im on now…

Im so thinking about using a Arcade stick for better play, but my learning curve is sad with one
Mines is a bit weird at the moment, I’m on about 1650PP but only 2500BP , all i’ve been doing is beating up scrubs most of the time though. Plus I have around 1500BP with Sagat as my secondary.
I managed to pick up AE, but I havnt started Into the ranked yet since Im busy. After this week I should have the time I need to crack into it. Think I played 2 ranked matches all together. I preformed terribly too but luckily they were not the best 
I need to stop always playing endless/ with friends when i get the time to go on :L
No way man, keep playing endless. Ranked mode is such bullshit this time around.
In Super it was a decent measure since Japanese players and other arcade rats were all on it since there was no arcade release to swarm around. Now, AE is easily accessible and fairly cheap at arcades so no one really cares about online. The rankings are all fudged up.
I see. Ranked doesnt mean anything to me since I fully enjoy endless and such. But I guess I have a personal goal to get my character rank… I dont know - B eventually? Hell I might even be satisfyed with C, since I’ve never attempted even one long session of ranked lol

I do not do much ranked. I like Endless because I can rematch an opponent and make adjustments. With ranked it is one and done.
Finally hit C class today. I have only played about 40 ranked matches with Fei. My PP was around 880 last night but I got booted 2 x due to power flashes because of a storm, and then lost 2 matches. I am back around 430 PP (damn penalty for being booted) and my BP are at 1037. I am slowly getting there lol.
I have definitely improved. I have been saving replays along the way, and one of my replays from a month or so ago is embarassing to watch. All I could do was CW and Flame Kick lol. However Im obviously playing against C class players now and I am holding my own, so I am improving, which is good.
Yeah I dunno if it’s just me but I’m only motivated when I’m facing the new characters(Oni, E. Ryu, Yun, Yang)…when I’m fighting the regular characters, it’s just so boring for some reason. I usually just jump right in and fight recklessly lol and end up losing.
It’s never really boring for me, since the matchups have changed a little, it makes me curious of what more I can do, or what more I cannot do against other characters.
Off topic question for all of you. Do you guys notice you get more varied matchups if you do it via arcade fight request. I dont get the same Ryu, Yang, Yun matches over and over again. People fighting via that method tend to have a wild variety of fighters…
After playing sporadically the past couple months, I feel like I have a better understanding of: the wiggle DP; various okizeme mix-ups; spacing for footsies; and CW and FK OS. My BP and PP? Not impressive enough to even post, haha, but I feel much more confident when I jump into Endless and/or Ranked.
