Feeling like giving up

  1. Hidden Missiles don’t create an unblockable, so you can still block high or low. Just focus on blocking the point character and you’ll block the missiles too. At most you’ll take chip damage, but that’s fine as long as you’re not fighting Doom and Morrigan lol.

  2. Doom isn’t invincible during hidden missiles. Don’t give your opponent space to call them out. You can also hit Doom out of the hidden missiles. The sooner you hit him the less will come out. If you catch him early enough none will come out.

  3. I think the saying the best defense is a good offence suits marvel. But don’t be too reckless. Be aware of your characters and opponents frame data, and which moves are safe and punishable.

(I’m tired so I may have made errors, I will correct them later)

If you need to block something in this game, please learn how to block. I’m tired of seeing people that are constantly upbacking because they don’t care about learning how to block properly.

That said, you don’t always have to block…if you see drones, it will probably be a good idea to superjump out and use certain floating skills (if you have them) to suspend yourself into the air until the drones leave.

I got 150:00 in lab time and a 5 win% in like 300 games
i’m gonna give zero a try and see if it helps

Well, if you’re looking to improve…

Look around, find some threads and absorb all the information you can. Learning all the teminology (technology, bnbs, QCF, OTGS, ect.) will really help you out in the long run. Make some friends on here, people who are willing to help you get better in some lobbies. Most importantly though:

SPEND COUNTLESS HOURS IN THE TRAINING ROOM.
I cannot stress this point enough. Pick a team you like, stick with them, and train train train and then train some more. Complete all your character’s missions, and again, SPEND HOURS IN THE TRAINING ROOM. Keep practicing your basic ABC combos(For PS3, the input is Ground: SQUARE-TRIANGLE-CIRCLE-Launch into Air: TRIANGLE-TRIANGLE-CIRCLE-Launch) until the only way you can fuck them up is due to terrible lag. And even so, there is a lag simulator option that will help you out with that.

I’m more than willing to play with you over PSN and give you a few pointers. If you’d like, the tag is Onslaught_EXE.

And don’t even go into Ranked Matches, you’ll only come out salty. Just focus all of your time to mastering your team in the training room, and if you feel up to it just stick to player matches. Grinding is NOT going to help you get better
