as for the cap: OG FFN Patrons always welcome… I totally agree with that.

Sooper being at FFN this week is a total toss up… we’ll see who the FFN patrons of the year will be.

btw, George, I recommend you hold a new chars only tournament next thursday as a release party/welcome ssf4 event. I’ll coordinate with you :]

Also: I kinda feel bad for this but we should’ve nomiated Alex Arcade for Save the Arcades program… I went to do it today and it seems too late… $25K to Alex Arcade would change a lot, maybe even a new location with brand new games, and we would have a solid OC Arcade with players from all over OC coming to it. Right now A.I. is at the top of the chart to win $25K so we might as well help them out. http://savethearcades.stridegum.com/

Edit: Arcade Infinity needs to be “saved?” Nah arcades survive when you bring the community to your arcade with events and good customer service (in this case cabinet repair ect.) Alex’s arcade will be fine, although yea 25k would guarantee a Super cabinet. I’m showing out for that singles tourney though even if I get blasted out quickly. Gonna be my Viper this time.

If Alex Arcade could get $25K, they could probably change to a bigger location to fit more ppl and games, guaranteed SSF4 boards, T6 Blood Rebellion, other arcade games (ie DDR, Racing, etc) and probably lowered prices for both games to play. They’d be ready to get MvC3 whenever it comes out too. We’d have a really legit arcade and it would be the main attraction in the O.C. for cheaper to play games and competition with more room to hold lots of ppl.

Between AI and Alex’s, AI doesn’t need the help. I’ve got nothing against AI, it’s a great arcade, but it’s in fine shape as far as I know.

I’m also okay with a smaller player base this week. Gives us more time to screw around if this truly will be a Super FFN session.
