I started playing this when it launched for PC, and I dismissed it as being inferior to 3S, Garou, etc. And off I went to play 3S and learn Last Blade 2. Recently I got a bug up my ass to play it again, and once you get through the Shoto Scrub hell online, this game is surprisingly deep and fun. It still has issues, but hopefully these will be corrected in the update/sequel/Second Impact Hyper Anniversary edition.
So, to my surprise it has made my top 10 list:
Garou: Mark of the Wolves, Street Fighter 3: 3rd Strike, King of Fighters 98, Samurai Shodown V Special, Last Blade 2, Hyper Street Fighter 2, Samurai Shodown 2, King of Fighters 2002, Capcom VS SNK 2, and Street Fighter 4.
Before that I had Kizuna Encounter at #10 (it’s a mash fest, but it’s fun as fuck). Because of SF4, I’m investing in a Happ Stick to get better at Bison.
Don’t know how the name of this thread relates, nor did I think this warranted its own thread, but in any case, I’m glad to hear that you decided to give this game a shot again
What the hell is “Feck”? I’ve just tried to search it up on Google and YouTube but I’m not coming up with a fighting game. Speaking of, this thread should have been created in either the Fighting Games Discussion or Other Games topic.
Edit: I’ve just realized that this thread is about Street Fighter IV, LOL. I got owned right there. The thread title threw me off and your initial post didn’t clearly explain what game you were talking about.
