I’m hype for this tournament! Been practicing the past few days, not as much as I’d have hoped, but definitely finding my way around the characters.

I would love to come and cover this event and your local scene in general. The idea of the series is that I get an inside look at the local fighting game scene in any country/city I’m visiting so far I’ve covered: Hamburg, Berlin, Holland, London, Japan and just finished filming in Costa Rica. Another aim of each video is to encourage people to come down and check out their local fighting game scene.

I need to get a ride and a borrow a stick if possible since I’m travelling with my family and am all the way from New Zealand (via Costa Rica

I might give you a pm Romeo if I can find a way there and back. I’ll be staying close to the Golden gate bridge on and can chip for gas. Will also conduct some interviews on the way if people are keen like I did in Holland on the way to their DN2 nationals.

Can someone go here and bring a laptop, connect it directly, and tell me the upload speed of the place?
Use Speedtest.net - The Global Broadband Speed Test

If the upload is 5mb/s or higher, we can have ourselves a quality stream.

Bad news Coopa, the upstream is 380kbps with SpeedTest. Sorry dude.

If im of early I may come though but not 100% sure that I will play… Wasn’t big on the vs series as I was with reg SF but we shall see… I have tues wed off so 2 days practicing with trial and error may change my mind…

I’d like to go but I’m on 360, and have no PS3 stick. If there are 360 setups to play on, then it’ll be fine, but if the tourney is PS3 only then I’d need to borrow someone’s stick.

Carlo, if it gets really crowded, please save your laptop casual station for next time. If there’s room after tournament, ask me and we’ll see what the space situation is like.
