Just did a dual boot on my computer and tested with XP, got the same problem, no aspect ratio correction, so I’m guessing it’s a driver problem.
Maybe that’s it. I’ve got an nVidia GeForce 7600 with Forceware 169.09 drivers on my laptop.
Although it may not mater, the FBA Enhanced developer is currently working on fixing the problem. Just gotta wait for R16, I guess.
Played a game on r15 last night… ran awesome.
Was kickin’ butt due to my controls being nice and tight. FBA FTW.
Digitalbooty or anyone else, let me know your results for the frame step input test thingie. Thanks.
is anyone still getting input delay? all servers are still filled with Mame…
i wish more people would use fba only people in servers are all using mame :arazz:
Anyone having issues mapping buttons with their HRAP2 (pelican ps2 to ps3 converter)? For some odd reason my buttons are mapped all weird and I can’t change it when in the change button mapping window. If anyone can help me out on this issue, it would be greatly appreciated.
anyone has desyncs when hosting a p2p match with sound enabled?
There is a packet misorder => misordered data to emulator bug in the current implementation of the p2p protocol. Its probably caused by that. I’m working to fix it.
edit 2: nvm…
I haven’t tested it myself yet, but there seems to be one frame of delay. I will confirm later.
edit: confirmed
so that one frame better than MAME right
yes.
Oh… The reason I asked is because I tried it myself, and it was weird for me. The first input would have a frame of delay, then all inputs after that would be clean. Same thing even when I restarted multiple times. I know it’s not my input devices because with Elsemi it was consistently zero; with MAMEs 0.117 and 0.119 it was always 1 frame.
While we wait for R16 to come out, an updated version of FBA Shuffle just came out today:

mmm find it weird, maybe I missed something, but… no one posted about NFBA and its new kaillera client (Feb 7)???
just in case…
no lag, stable, fucking awesome, at last! (P2P only, though, so play with your contacts or make some here)
nfba system requirements:
- 10x more cpu power than normal fba requirement
- 10x more memory than normal fba requirement
lol? that has to be a joke… both work 100% fine on my dated machine
the community needs to ditch mame NOW!
ok is there a version where I can just put the regular kaillera client in it? and go online? also can someone link me to it?
also howcome when I put my street fighter 3 japan rom in it it translates it to the american version? whats wrong?
You have to switch between version, in dip switch menu, under Map inputs (in nFBA, can’t remember for fba e/s)…
