I realize now that looking thru the thread Tetris 2 (NES/SNES/GB) gets no love. That game was the shit. I kinda understand why it gets no shine due to fucking with the formula too much but still a great game though.
And I forgot to give my nod to MK Deception’s Puzzle Kombat Mode. It was a nice twist on Puzzle Fighter and it was really enjoyable.
Puzzle Quest. Tried the new one…not too bad once you get used to the new board.

When Pokemon Puzzle League made it’s way on the Wii Virtual Console, I ran out to the store to buy a 2000 point card to get it.
Echochrome is also a very good game… came free with my PSP and wasn’t expecting much of it, but it’s actually a lot of fun, and very different from other puzzle games you see.

I KNEW I wasn’t the only one on the planet who loved that game!!! Magical Drop III is my favorite. I had wished they would make a part 4, but the three we did get are still every bit as full of win as puzzle game fan could ask for. One of my other favorites that didn’t seem to catch on with other people is N64s Tetrisphere. Music was all that and the regular puzzles were great. The battle mode could’ve used some tweaking. the computer was owning everyone on its hardest difficulty. Other than that, I don’t see why it got such a bad rap.

Definitely Tetris! Played that since I got it with the Gameboy as a pack in.
Chu Chu Rocket is also very fun, but very underrated. Not too many people have played this, what a shame.

As for other puzzle games, uhh… I HATE Puzzle Fighter. To me, it plays like a retarded Puyo wannabe.
…and I have a secret love for Puzzle Bancho, even though the game is confusing as hell for the most part.
