Father of the year,or what needs to happen when you are a ungrateful spoiled child

Did this guy even post it to youtube? or did someone else just take the link from his facebook and threw it up on youtube?

Should have taken lessons from China.

SRK is inconsistent sometimes.

I don’t really see what this will teach her, getting an ass whooping or even destroying her laptop privately is one thing. Making a spectacle of the damn thing is just silly. Comparing her making a facebook status for her, at best hundreds of friends to see compared to the millions seeing her dad unloading a clip into a laptop like a nutbar isn’t going to shape her into a better person. If anything it’s going to cause more damage to her since I guarantee she’ll be alienated for the rest of her high school career.

I hope he knows that she won’t look back on this and say that she was wrong, but she just might end up hating him for it. Destroying the laptop, ok. Embarrassing her is something i for a fact know that most kids her age ( I have friends that got embarrassed by their parents) will just end up making her hate him. Though this man showed us what a father should do: destroy her things, take away basic human rights until proven that she deserves them, making her work a whole lot more, THAT is what she is going to learn from. This video will produce nothing but hate. (Her towards him of course. Don’t get me wrong, i fucking hate girls who do this shit, but even i think that the video was a little overboard. I didn’t click the link, but hopefully he didn’t link her Facebook, that’d scar her for life.)

And going to college while in high school??? Lol. Good shit though, we need less bitches.

That’s awesome what the father did. And like every good thread, there are always the trolls that want to buzzkill it.

SRK we argue both sides even if one is wrong.

If he bought the laptop from Target or Best Buy he could probably return and get his money back. Doubt they’d even check its condition before accepting.

Are HDD prices still high? Could get away by replacing it with clay while he’s at it too.

I still don’t understand why people support this. He even acknowledges in the video that he doesn’t intend for his daughter to ever see this video(which is really stupid logic because what’s stopping her from checking at school), so the ONLY reason was to humiliate her. EVERYTHING he did in that video he could have done to her in person(minus shooting the laptop but he could have just went to town on it with a sledge hammer) and it probably would have been more effective. Even if he feels like he’s pushed into a corner there’s always more alternatives. Send her to military school.

When your dad was harsh on you, I’m 100% positive that you knew that there was a good reason for it. I’ll even give my own personal experience. My aunt and my mother are two very different people when it comes to disciplining us. My cousin and I were fighting and we put a hole in the wall. The second my Aunt saw it, she beat the LIVING SHIT out of us. Afterwards she told us that we’re family and it doesn’t matter what happens but we always have each other so we need to care for each other.

My mom however is the type to straight humiliate you. I remember at piano recital I had messed up during my performance. Afterwards, my mom straights berating me, telling me how embarrassed to be at the performance in front of other people. I quit piano almost immediately after I was old enough to. Even now I think back it I go “That was a pretty dick move.”

I haven’t talked to my Mom in about 3 or 4 years now. However, I try to call my aunt almost every other week. So no I can almost guarantee she won’t be thanking him for this.

What he did was good for her. Discipline is a sorrowful thing but it’s necessary for her in order to grow up into a proper adult.

My tios (uncles) were cowboy hats all the time. They don’t fire handguns with hollowpoints at laptop computers. But I get your point you stereotyping bastard.

The only time I think people need guns is only if they are going to use them to hunt. And even then it should only be done for sustenance not sport. But that’s just me…

Gun people are just assholes.

Seems to be a lot of disciplinarians hanging around on SRK forum general section lol.

Well a good mixture of them and trolls. I guess it’s to be expected.

I also suspect there are a lot of people around here who needed their asses whipped as children, but didn’t get it (present company excluded, of course).

It’s not over yet. She still has to pay for the bullets that killed her laptop. I guess this is the new age version of ,“Go out there and pick your own switch!!”

-Starhammer-

Problem is, I never went out to the public to try and make comments about how trashy, lazy asses, never does anything about my parents either. If I would’ve done something like this, lmao, I would’ve not only been humiliated in probably a public way such as this, but their probably wouldn’t of been a big enough fly swatter he could use on me as well.

When you have a child who does something like this, I guarantee you’ll not be speaking with flowers and berries. However when you see your very own daughter, not someone else daughter, not some other daughter from a state away, your very own flesh and blood write such revolting comments. You’ll definitely put them in there place.

He made a bold statement to tell her what his so called “lazy ass” can do, and that in the end, it’s momma and papa who run the show while you still live, eat, and sleep in their house. Again, there is absolutely nothing wrong with what this guy as a parent did to show discipline to his child, to humiliate her so that she learns to never disrespect her parents in such a way again, and more importantly publicly as how she did, she basically just got it handed back.

If you want to blame anybody, blame all of the stupid current mentality of how a child knows what they are doing and should advocate it, because it’s obviously being abused today and being taken completely out of context. Kids these days need a harsh lesson in reality to realize how good they have it, and this girl “Hanna” got it. I still applaud this man as a father.

on one hand, i wish everyone who doesnt have kids does so they can feel what its like, but on the other hand, i hope none of you ever procreate. WHAT A QUANDRY

Because clearly this began with her Facebook behavior.

Nothing could have possibly precipitated her behavior.

It’s all about what the guy shooting explosive rounds into an inanimate object says it is.

Clearly he is the soul of reason.

one time I did something stupid like that, when I came home from school my whole room was empty, completely cleared out (didn’t even have a bed, lol) all of my fun stuff like my comic books, yugioh cards, game boy advance were in a garbage bag, soaked in gasoline, and I had to watch my folks burn my shit.

kids today need discipline and ass-whuppings now more than ever:

A lot of people care about authority and respect.

When I was young it always left a bad taste in my mouth.

Still does.

By the way that kid was ridiculed at school and then shot to death by a gang member.
