Fast Five Movie: EJECTO SEATO CUZ!

damn just saw it… pretty fun movie, i guess han and her broke it off before he gets toasted in tokyo? or maybe she got caught up from the fast life, and he just follows soon after. honestly the 3rd movie shouldnt even exist at this point. why would you be collecting alongside yakuza if u got 10 mill in the bank? what is he MC Hammer? I guess the “I have money…” monologue from part 3 makes sense, and he’s searchin for people to trust like he did w/ Toretto and gang… why am i even bothering piecing it together?

also the post credits scene i was just like WHHHYYYY???

can’t wait for Fast and Furisix: The Quest for More Cameos

edit: people love tokyo drift? i guess i was too hung up that the whole main cast of a movie in tokyo were all americans. at least i guess they gave us han, who’s too laid back and doesn’t give a shit that he’s doomed by canon

2>5>1>4>3

No you got it all wrong. He fucking died in Tokyo Drift. So what they did was they bought him back. Don’t you get it? They are APOLOGIZING for killing him in Tokyo Drift so they brought him back. If the the masses loved 3 they wouldn’t need to bring back Han, instead they would of continued with the little white kid. Instead they went backwards, and not forward! You don’t ever go backward just to go backwards. I will give you an example.

The Lion King was a successful hit. So they came out with The Lion King 2. After a while they realize that number one was still the best. So they decided to go backwards and redo the original Lion King, but with Puma and Timon’s point of view.

Jesus Christ MAXX!

P.S Please put apostrophes in your posts. You’re almost reaching Cool-Breeze level bad with grammar.

I thought so too. And to be honest with you, I had very low expectations for part 3. But I thought it was very entertaining, in fact, I liked it better than part 2, which I couldn’t even bear to sit through.

Anyways, I saw it Friday night, and I was pretty impressed. It was awesome. Great way to kick off the ton of movies coming out this summer. Also, it was hilarious, seeing the ending. Everyone was watching it in the theaters and all at the same time was like, “WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTT?” hilarous.

^ Probably watched Legend of Chun-Li.

I wanted to see this but there was a tourney all weekend, so I D/L’d it. About to hit up some pizza this afternoon and watch.

fuck yo apostrophe

I mean wow just wow:
The Escapist : Video Galleries : Escape to the Movies : Fast Five

Not expecting everyone to like the movie but man this guys bias is straight oozing off of him as you’re watching it.

Saw it at the midnight release, wasn’t expecting much but it was great.
The drag race scene was great.
Watch Better Luck Tomorrow, great film with Han as one of the main characters. His Pre-racing days. Justin Lin obviously loves Han.

Just judging by the posts in this thread, it isn’t so absolute.

For me it is 5>3>1>2>4

Han is the #1 pimp in all of Fast and Furious, no one gets more girls.

Yea people on gaming forum tends to like 3 a lot more than your average movie viewer. If you would go to any movie forums, they absolutely hated 3. Or just talk to people in general who aren’t into gaming/cars. 3 is more of a niche market movie aimed towards the import car/drift scenes.

3 was okay.

The plot was horrid, but had the best car action of the series.

*Punishment for causing massive trouble is to be exiled to Japan? Exiled? To Japan? Really?
*Main character was 17, looked 31.
*Main girl was pretty hit. That freaking jawline.
*A race to determine the fate of DK? And a Yakuza boss agreed to something so silly?

I’m big into the import car thing, I have a right hand drive car, but regardless 3 was shit. Also I fuck with the Raggaeton but it had like no place in that movie. Made more sense to have it in 4/5 considering who was in it, and where they took place.

2 Fast was the worst overall, but the plot made way more sense than Tokyo. Five was defintely the best as an overall movie.

I’d say 5>1>4>3>2. 1 gets second because it’s nostalgic, and is highly quotable on car forums. It also defied physics. 8 gear Eclipse RS turbo with a Motec system exhaust and 2 big Nosses!

Justin Lin to Return for Fast and Furious 6 - ComingSoon.net

Well duh he has a bias lol. Throughout the video he says he doesn’t like or get why people like the movie series. It would be different if he tried to sound all high and mighty and treat his opinion as fact. Don’t hate on my Movie Bob.

It seems that those who are a fan of Han finds 3 their favorite.

Just based on reviews, 2 and 4 were the worst overall.

Antonio Bandares shouldve had a fuckin cameo “im looking for Butcho”

SPOILER POST kind of

Its obvious where six is going after the end credit teaser::rock:

The FBI with the help of Nazis created a clone of Letty in berlin (think nazi experiments) to get Turreto out of hiding.

Han is there with the JEWISH chick and calls Turreto about seeing Letty and helping him and Jewgirl get revenge of those fuckin Nazis.

Turreto then joins up with han and Jewgirl to fuck up the nazi’s, who are being lead by Letty.

Turreto finds out Letty’s a clone and is about to powerbomb her fake ass, BUT, she has feelings for “Dom” still and he still wants to wax that ass so some tears are exchanged and shit.

Now she doesnt wanna be a cloned nazi chick anymore but because of her unstable cloning genetic shit she literally melts into a pool of steaming goo when she finds out about the brazillian cop chick that Turreto is boning.

The Rock comes in at this point chasing o conner on foot from whatever island oconner lives on leading em to Team Han-rreto.
Turreto and Han fill in The Rock and O Conner on everything and the Rock says, “fuck it, Im in!” (after another epic hulk vs Retard strength wrestling street brawl) and they blast the Nazis to hell.

Han says “i gotta go to Japan and fuck up the yakuza you guys wanna come?”

The Rock says " I cant do that, you’ve all got 24 hrs before i take ur asses back to Lompoc bitches"

O Conner says “I gotta stay in hiding in case terminators come back”

and Turreto says “i’ll be there in a little bit Han i got your back, what’s the worst that can happen?”

Eva Mendes starts strippin down with Turretos sister and Gal until the credits end… till there’s another teaser:

The Rock is working and muttering to himself “Fuck, i cant keep doing that” but Eva gives him a file that says Han is dead in Tokyo cuz of DK…
BUT she also hands him a current photo of Han, with a tiny swastika tatooed behind his ear and he’s smokin some Jamaican weed in africa.

Fuckin Nazis cloned Han: FastFuckin 8 baby in Jamaica.

btw: teaser at end of FF8 would be Vince coming back as a terminator cyborg from the future trying to kill O conner cuz o conner is the leader of the resistance, but Turreto’s nephew sends turreto with Cloned Han (who even though he’s a nazi clone is still turreto’s friend cuz Han doesnt give a fuck.)into the future to kill Vince-inator.

teaser for FF10 BowWow and Young Current Drift king and Old Drift King are the Nazi Leaders tokyo drift dudes minus Han vs Old school Furious fools plus Han and Rock.

I saw it Saturday night that it opened. Glad I didn’t go Friday night since I drive a turbo Z, I can just imagine all the fart-can civics that wouldve tried stupid shit.

I think it’s the best of the series. Funny I’m watching a movie with The Rock right now and he’s super thin. He was a monster in this movie. It had everything in it, something for everyone. I laughed a lot because there was stupid stuff, impressive stuff, and exciting stuff.

And yes MW2 memories came back. When I saw that in the trailer for the movie I was like this looks familiar but Inception did it too with the snow scene so it’s whatever.

The black guy is Alimi Ballard. He’s in Numb3rs as an FBI agent so when I saw him I was excited about that too. Everyone was in this movie.

Ending

Spoiler

When the garbage truck was under the bridge, it stuck out way too much for it NOT to be involved. I was looking at it thinking someone’s in that truck but why? I like the Ocean’s style team work and scheme pull-off.

For post-credits

Spoiler

They never show Letty dying. The guy says he doesn’t remember her face and they never show him shooting her. The car is flipped upside down and is burning and she had crawled out. Still, after the credits the crowd was like “Woooooow wtf”

Hahn

Spoiler

Hahn needs his own movie. Seriously, best FF character of all. The black widow bitch can come too.

Tokyo Drift is probably my 2nd favorite, mostly because I’ve been into drifting since Initial D was first being produced and the first manga was released in America way back in 2002. On top of that, all the cameos of drivers that actually did the driving and there were only 2-3 parts that were CG (pull-back on the mountain where the girl is driving and the inch distance from the wall with DK in the parking garage, maybe one other point). I wish they would have done an overall view of Japan’s car culture in that movie because it’s so rich and varied (unlike America -_-) but it could be it’s own movie for each scene pretty much.

I’ve only seen the original “The Fast & the Furious”. If I went to got see Fast Five, will I know what’s going on? Or is there too much fanservice/nudge-nudge-wink-wink for me to understand and enjoy the film?

Considering that Americans have absorbed Japan’s car culture into their own…I’d call that statement not valid.

it can be seen as it’s own movie.

Just saw 5 Fast and it was great, it was everything I could hope for leading up to the 5th in the series.

Has elements of The Fast and The Furious, Ocean’s Eleven, completely unrealistic action scenes, forced touching moments, prison buses, blood thirsty police force Rock, the casualties of half the Brazilian police force, and so much more.

I’ll probably end up seeing this thing again, a DVD purchase for sure.

I haven’t seen this movie, nor do I really care what is going on in this thread, but I really love the title
