FanimeCon arcade - SF4, T6BR, BB 5/21-5/25

Hey all,

Just wanted to let everyone know that we are setting up an arcade at FanimeCon at the San Jose Convention Center this week. The arcade will be open late afternoon Thurs to mid day Monday.

Some of the stuff we are going to have:

4 units of SFIV (arcade cab not console)
Tekken 6BR
BlazBlue

CvS2,MvC2,SF3:3S, GGXXAC

Pop N Music
ParaPara
Drum&Guitar
Dance Maniax

Initial D 4 (2 units)
Max Tune 3 (4 units)
Time Crisis 4
Ghost Squad

and a bunch more. We’ll have about 35 games setup.

Thursday night is supposed to be open to the public so come on by if you want to play all the good stuff in one place.

I’ll be at Fanime from Friday morning to Sunday evening myself. Come swing by Artist Alley and look for Miss Shelby’s table. I’ll be helping her sell prints, customs and more. She’ll be available to do custom sketches as well, so don’t be shy!

OCE: I’ll definitely be swinging by for some games. Gotta do the annual ritual of a round of ParaParaParadise in this years costume :rofl:

Ant isn’t it $60 to stay all 3 days at the FanimeCon? I heard its only $30 for 1 day but I kinna wanna go all 3 days. And try to help me convince joey to go! He wants to watch UFC 98 instead! I wanna watch it too but we can always watch it the next day :rofl:

If it’s open to the masses, i’ll be there to check it out. I’m curious about checking out the rest of Fanime, but not curious enough to drop 60 buxxx to satisfy that curiousity, i guess.

Yeah I hella wanna watch it too lol but joey told me montry is gonna order it on saturday…so I don’t think their coming then. But yeah is there gonna be Tourny’s for Fri, Sat, Sun? Or is it only Saturday around 6?

Last year cvs2 was .50 =(. I predict .50 for the usual quarter games and .75-1.00 for BlazBlue, T6:BR, and SF4

The .75 per game is hella lame =[ I talked to the E gamers that are holding the tournament, one of the guys told me there might be a way to be in the tournament without having the badge (paying 30 to get in) Kinna don’t wanna risk it though, I don’t wanna go there and find out I gotta pay the 30 dollars
