And yes i was around in the mvc2 days, been following the scene as a whole since the 90’s actually. I witnessed some pretty great MMs in mvc2 such as the Duc vs sanford / The Darkprince vs Clock / & some minor ones like Reset vs yipes, and dark prince vs josh wigfall (lol) plus more that I can’t recall.

There’s a big difference between a 20-50$ Money match/ Winning a small side tourney at EVO and a $5k money match being streamed to thousands of viewers. Not to mention all your mates depending on you to not lose their money

lol at the “rayray beating fanatiq 10-4 is a lie” rrmark. rayray (who i happen to know personally) said he beat him 10-4 at SBO weeks before fantiq got on CCL and fanatiq said he was beat 10-4 on cross counter live. if it was a lie, would two opposing players agree on the same thing? that is to say, if they’re not scheming or anything. which i’m 100 percent sure they’re not. on that note, i’m all for rayray on this one. east coast all day!
The word “robbed” was meant to be used in multiple contexts. People will be robbed of their money. Matches will be robbed by XF3 at least once. Erik Lehnsherr will rob Max Eisenhardt of his life, etc.
I seriously can’t wait for this money match. The very first match in each set must be started with both Magnetos bumping chests. Otherwise, it won’t be Mahvel.

I pray to god that we get to see some sick unnecessary resets and some disrespectful snapback combos.
My few words to this comment say that while Cold Star is useful for pressure, keepaway, and lockdown or whatever, the problem is that the damage is SCALED very badly, probably comparable to throw damage scaling.
Drones scale all of Magneto’s combos the least, meaning he gets the most damage very easily, not to mention that they are the most versatile assist in terms of being useful to the entire cast. Missiles work too, but sometimes their odd trajectory can screw up your combo, but they OTG.
And you expect these from… Fanatiq “Fly Loop” Gamerson? He’ll be playing to win, super solid. I doubt he’ll risk his $$$ like that.
