Fanatiq is a hustler, he admits it. Hustlers worth anything will try and manipulate the situation to make it as advantageous as possible. It’s obvious he wants the 5k, but he’s pushing to see how much he can get away with before he makes any kind of committment. I think at this point, the only reasonable thing is to just character lock Magneto and say fuck everything else. I’d personally like if Sentinel was locked too as I love high level Sentinel play but that’s me speaking as a fan, and realistically you might not want to limit yourself.
Normally I like Fanatiq, but his attitude lately has been terrible. I almost think that’s part of the hustle, so he can turn as many people as possible off him so that the payout is bigger. It rubs me the wrong way that Fanatiq called out Joker and Rayray, they say they’re up for money matches, then he acts like a bitch so that everything goes his way. I understand why, it’s just annoying.
So that 1% was the problem? If that 1 fucking percent actually read the discription in the first place, none of this horse shit would have happened.

what are you talking about. fanatiq agreed to magneto on point, he agreed to sent aswell, he also agreed to gather the money for the trip there himself, the only thing he refuses to accept is being locked to a character that joker doesnt have to be. if anything he’s been letting joker run most of the rules, but at this point, its joker trying to hustle fanatiq by making him commit to mss
Mag/Sent char lock is ideal imo. Joker can switch to Doom if he needs to and Fanatiq can go to Spencer/Akuma or whoever else.

This whole magneto thing got me so hype I went into the lab and now have a pocket magnus/doom/dorm team on top of my vergil, wesker, viper, dante, zero, spencer squads lol. Yeah I’m giving someone the finger if they try to lock my characters. Options are a powerful thing in fighting games especially marvel where a simple change of assists can completely alter a matchup.
