Already addressed this point before. There’s a difference between a spontaneous small $10-$50 money match and a highly publicized, streamed to thousands of viewers $5k high-stakes money match.

What about Fanatiq having to deal with a character he doesn’t have serious experience playing against? Isn’t that a major disadvantage. Are you saying this will be a blowout in favor of Fanatiq?

Yeah it is, but this isn’t a ft5. Fanatiq has a knack for downloading people. On top of that knowing Fanatiq, I’m pretty sure he’s getting one of his boys to play Jokers team and emulating his playstyle (as best as they can because I know they’ll be nowhere near Joker’s level). He did that in the MVC2 money match so I’m pretty sure he’s doing it now.
And let’s not forget, Fanatiq doesn’t work lol. He literally has ALL DAY, EVERY DAY 24/7 to practice. Only time he’ll break is for toilet, sleep or eating.

Fanatiq made a few demands through rdk’s fb once the call out was done:
a) he wanted 15 games
b) he wanted us (or the guy running toryuken) to pay for his flight
c) no coaching
Joker agreed to 15 but also wanted character lock. Fanatiq’s response was “Who does character lock?” I dunno if that ever got resolved…but I know that Joker wants character lock. He might’ve agreed later on, I left before that was settled.
The only reason that Joker said 10 was because the vid was made the same day as the rayray confirmation (ie before RayRay/Fanatiq agreed to 15) I’m sure if they saw the ray ray thing before making the vid they would’ve said 15 as well

Fanatiq is absolutely REFUSING a character lock.
Now, I’m just a lowly scrub, but my guess is this has something to do with the pocket Spencer/Sentinel/Akuma. Both Joker wanting a lock, and Fanatiq NOT wanting it.
I just thought it was kinda shameless/slimey to talk shit about how you’d money match them up to 6 digits…then ask for donations for a flight over from the same people that are challenging you? We’re Canadian but we’re not that nice…Then when getting rejected…he goes to the public. He should be getting that money from Hevad or whoever he’s getting the 5k from. All this while getting personal and stuff, I dunno.
