lookin good everyone. i’m surprised at the small amount of activity this past week tho. -shrugs-
its the calm before the storm. snake and rex are going to be big. Im expecting everyone to give their A game on these last two.
I rushed to finish my snake early so I could work on rex. I used the same style as I did with mantis.

I’ll catch up eventually, once my schedule settles down (unfortunately it’ll be mid Oct by then). Got some ideas for the Snake & Ocelot pics. Still need to work on Mantis & Wolf too…

Since you guys are on Solid Snake I thought I’d post my unfinished Lieutnant JG plisken drawing I did a while ago. 
Early Rex. Really wanted to finish this, but time is restricted for me as of late. I’ll just submit it as is or I probably won’t submit it at all. Grats to all who participated in this challenge. Thanks for all the crits, comments, and everything else. My job is done here with this challenge.

Dan sc - Nice little action poses you got there. Ever tried to take it past the sketch level? I’d be interested if you’d go deeper with your art. Good stuff.
mkus - Exciting pics of art from you always. Up and coming star. What can I say. Work hard everyday and I’ll see your work doing games, tv, or even film. Great pose and mood on sniper.
scum - Very funny pics as always. I know your art is always on the witty side, but I’d like for you to produce more of what you did for Solid. Think it would be cool. Take it to another level.
lupin - A very unorthodox method you are using with your works. Whatever works though. I really like your subtle color choices and I already know you can draw by just looking at your lines. I’d like to see more of what you did for liquid snake.
bland - Those re pretty cool. The mantis is very well done. Anatomy and all. The lighting on the wolf piece is good, but I think they can be more back lit since the moon is behind them. Overall good stuff.
noround - pose is good, but a little stuff for me. Add some weight to her pose by grounding here more. Keep at it and hope to see more in the future.
1 - Pretty cool camera choice. Our eye is viewing his left boot up. I think we should be able to see under snakes face more. Difficult pose, but I think you pulled it off well.

sfmc, I really really like your rex pic, lovin that background. but one thing bothers me, and its rex. the head section could use some work, the ‘snout’ doesnt quite stick out as much as it should, and the head isnt very broad. I posted an early sketch in my mecha thread if you havent seen it already.
in fact it kind of resembles a giant frog instead of a military death machine.
but take my comments with a grain of salt, it beats the pants off any of my stuff.
