Family Fun Arcade (Granada Hills, CA) SSF4 AE .50!

Nah was some other dude he was white i think…

So yeah, I want to have a tournament soon. Which is better?

Sooner, but on Sat, Jan. 1st or
Later, but on Sat, Jan. 8th?

EDIT: Up there I had mentioned that we were almost at 1/10th of what the boards cost. I forgot something in my math, we’ve actually made closer to 1/15th of what the boards cost. But our busiest week is always the first week, so it should take us longer than 15 weeks to make our money back. Then, once we’ve made our money back, (depending on how Ralph’s done it) we’d be at $0 profit and need to save up from there for another pair of AE boards, which will take even longer. Yeah, it’s confusing, and it costs a lot.

I understand; it’s business.

I don’t know about January 1st since it’s New Years, January 8th is the 1st RanBat of Alex’s Arcade (http://shoryuken.com/f7/alexs-arcade-ssf4-tournament-jan-8-a-259851/), and January 14-16th is West Coast Warzone 3.

What do you think about the following weekend on January 22th?

We’re also running a huge tournament for MvC2 on Jan 8th. How about on a Sunday? Jan 2nd and Jan 9th aren’t bad.

I see. Sunday January 2nd/9th is ok with me, but I’m not sure about everyone else. January 8th sounds cool too with MvC2 tournament running at the same time.

It’s your call boss.

What is the address for the arcade? I’ve been told two different addresses.
SRK
736 South Alvarado Street
Los Angeles, CA 90057

And then Iplaywinner lists it as:
10363 Balboa Blvd. Granada Hills, CA

I come from out of town, and wouldn’t mind seeing the game in action. One location that Iplaywinner lists, is extremely close. About walking distance, but Google tells me it leads to a subdivision.

Other location is much much farther away. about an hour drive or so.

Its on Balboa.

Still looking for a ride if someone is going out there often near simi.

Hey Ramon, where on SRK did it list our address as Alvarado? I just want to get it corrected if it’s a mistake. You can visit FFA United for directions and details, and it’s on the NW corner of Balboa and Devonshire, close to the 405 and 118 Freeways. It’s also got a Pizza Cookery, Asahi Sushi and a Chevron station in the same corner.

I managed to make a few calls to some people who have been there, and found out that the Balboa street is the correct address. Which works, My family lives off Devinshire? Which is a connecting street, and the place is only 3 miles away. I think if you look it up on google, it comes up as a whole different thing.

Is this place going to be open friday or saturday? Or even Sunday?

We will be open regular hours during the holiday weekend, but we will probably not be open 24 hours.

I think the Alvarado address is for Family Amusement Center, not to be confused with Family Fun Arcade.

We are on the northwest corner of Balboa and Devonshire, if you live on Devonshire, you can’t be too far away.

Played a good amount of matches, was good times. I managed to test out a lot of stuff with Adon. Tough stuff. Don’t know the names of any of the people I played against, but it was really fun. I plan on coming back again sometime soon.

FFA! Merry Christmas Everybody!

I’ve had the pleasure to meet a lot of you ssf4 players recently due to ae, but for those of you who I haven’t, my name is Abraham. I am posting to let you guys know that there will be a pretty cool event happening in two weeks, Saturday the 8th at FFA Arcade. There will be a high stakes Mvc2 money match and a couple of other considerable ($100.00 and up) matches as well. Aside from this, some pretty recognizeable ssf4 players will be there as well. There will also be a SSF4 AE tournament, so everybody should go and have a good time! Also, I will be doing ft 4s for $20 in ssf4 and I’m not that good at this game yet, so I will definitely be donating some money! Hope to see everybody there!
