Hey everyone, I know this is really short notice, but FFA will be holding a 2v2 3rd Strike tournament this Thanksgiving weekend at 7:00 PM! There is also the regularly scheduled Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Ranking Battle, and a Melty Blood tournament with 15 players arriving from NorCal and others from Arizona!

2v2 Team Tourney, Best of Three Games, Newton-Style Format (JPN)
$5 Entry Fee per Person ($10 per team)
Signups begin at 6:00 PM

Marvel vs Capcom 2:
Ranking Battle Rules
$5 Entry Fee
Signups begin at 7:00 PM

Melty Blood: Act Cadenza ver.B: (AKA West Toast 8)
Best of Three, Double Elimination
$5 Entry Fee plus $2 Cover Charge for PC Usage (MB is played on computers, will be set to free-play)
Signups begin at 4:00 PM

For the 2v2, is it winner take all or 1st, 2nd, 3rd? Maybe we should bump it to 10…seeing as how splitting $5 winnings between 2 people makes it a $2.50 tournament.

A super crowded arcade for fighting games is a good problem to have in the year 2007. And each tournament has its own people running it.

Haha, if I wasn’t running Melty, I woulda entered 3s as a joke. And why do all the Melty lurkers post in this thread, but not in my thread I made specifically for WT8. No one loves me =(

I don’t know if any MvC2 Norcalers are coming. As far as we know, it’s the Melty Blood Norcal peeps coming down.

Even though there’s a simultaneous 3s and MvC2 tourney, priority for recording goes to MvC2. We missed the last two times (1st time didn’t have enough peeps and 2nd time I forgot to leave my Breadbox at FFA)

Tomorrow isn’t a 3s Ranbat, but it is a MvC2 Ranbat, so MvC2 gets priority.

I actually recorded the last ranbat and put it up. But since mvc2 has priority now I dont need to bring my camera,but I will any way :cybot:

Will melty blood be recorded as well?
