are you still doing that mission? It pissed me off because I didn’t know where the elevator was at the beginning, so I ended up going through the whole place and the basement instead.

from the “main” entrance (where you meet the girl who partners up with you), you go down the hallway into a room with shelves and a stairwell going up, on your left side. Ignore the stairwell and walk to the middle of the room and look to your left, the elevator should be there

In one of the rooms, theres a manhole + radioactive waste, climb down the whole. You’ll go through a cave, then a subway tunnel.

i’m surprised how well this runs on the 360. oblivion had constant loading and frame jitters, but this thing has been pretty rock solid so far

The traveling Doc has the schematics to the nuke grenade though! You could try and steal the key from The Family, pretty sure there’s another sword in his room.
I killed Burke too, but that’s after talking to the sheriff. I think the TAC mercs though, are hired by the Vault.

You can buy back sold pieces from anyone. Also there are shishkeebob plans on Vance or in his sword locker. He has the key to that, but you might want to use all your equipment that adds to your sneak, he’s pretty ready to notice people, him and his stupid ass girlfriend.

A quick way to earn Karma is to give the bum outside of Megaton purified water. You can spam it as much as you want.

Has anyone tried changing the difficulty level midgame? I read that you can change it to very hard kill some mobs get more exp. Then just change it back to w/e you were playing it at?

I’m afraid of using up my Stealth Boys though. Is Sneak worth upping?
I have a pretty high sneak (50 I think) and I NEVER get the drop on fools. I’m level 14 and I think I’ve gotten ONE sneak attack. Its definitely not the skill it was in oblivion.
There is a way to complete the quest so you get your shit and kill them, and everything is still hunky dory, though certain npcs won’t talk to you. Like Lucy West. Pretty easy to do though. I killed Vance’s whole family, no problem. Just wait for Vance to sleep, lay some frag mines around his bed and chuck a grenade in, many laughs are had. For the rest of the family just go to the top of the mezzanine lay some mines at the top of the stairs, take pot shots at them with the rocket launcher or whatever other weapon of choice you have, and laugh as they come blow themselves up.

“another good exploit I found, for the mirelurk observation thing, if you just go to the war memorial early (as in when you need to go the sewers to beat the shit out of molerats) go through kill all the mirelurks, make sure you don’t miss any… then just go ahead and go back to moira and start the mirelurk quest, and you can easily place the observer thing and not have to fight anything, plus you get tons of mirelurk meat! yum.”
