I have to admit that I’m pretty bored of the game. The main quest is way too short and the level cap is retarded. It doesn’t help that the late level perks aren’t even that great.
Neither are the energy weapons unless I’m missing some stupid equation or invisible dice roll. Weapons in general feel a little… boring.
I’ll finish the last quest soon, then wait until the mod tools come out before I really look into it again.
i’m about 12 hours in and loving it. my only problem is getting sidetracked. i’ll be doing a quest and then see some new place pop up. curiosity gets the better of me and i’m off in another direction haha.
i kind of like the level cap in that it forces you to be selective in how you build your character. then again, i’m only a level 6

No, but according to the strategy guide X Luck = X% Critical, Finesse is an extra 5% and Moira’s span of quest can add another 3%.
I’m really liking the main quest. Just got to the brotherhood of steel HQ. I think its pretty amazing.

theres always too much rubble in the way, so i try various streets, but they all dead end blagh.
jie you gotta go through the underground tunnels to get there.
Most of them have paint on the walls if they’re the right one. I forget the name of the exact tunnel that gets you there though.
EDIT: also question to peoples…so I just found the brotherhood of steel chick that collects prewar books. I remember there being some place that was just filled with them but I cannot for the life of me remember where…grayditch maybe?
Have any PS3 owners been experiencing glitches and hang ups? I also heard that the textures used in the PS3 version are inferior to the ones on the 360…

It took me forever to figure out about that underwater door. Didn’t help that it doesn’t show up on the map. I’m beginning to think that energy weapons are low tier, I have a 95 energy weapon skill and they still suck compared to small guns/big guns with lower skills.
I’m disappointed with the 100 cap in skills, it is going to be way easy to max things out since I get 20 skill points a level. I didn’t know about the level cap, whats the max level???

Eh Oblivion had a lvl 20 cap to so that doesnt bother me to much. Honestly imo the best thing to pump points into for weapons would be small arms and either melee or unarmed. You really just dont get enough Big Guns and the plasma weapons suck ass.
