Tournaments I will attend:
I like to go to tournaments. At these tournaments I will gladly pick up or drop off any modded sticks if you wish to avoid shipping costs. Also handy if you want to punch me in the head. I will gladly troubleshoot any sticks you bring me and offer up suggestions for repair if they’re broken. I will most likely not be doing any modding at tournaments because I actually like to play vidya games. I will most likely take custom sticks I’m selling to tournaments and sell them there rather than online. My attendance status is subject to change. I generally attend C3 in NoVA every month as it is a monthly.

I will not be going to EVO. I will be at Otakon.

how much would you sell a duel modded se for? seeing you have 3 unmodded.

$150 dual modded. $200 dual modded + new buttons/stick. If you’ve purchased your own buttons/stick obviously you’d take the $150 (or if you’re a masochist who likes horrible buttons/sticks).

It will be 2-3 weeks before I am able to work on those three however, so you have plenty of time to wait and decide.

yea i am interested in it can i be 1st in line after your orders? i don’t mind the 3 week wait. an for now at least want it duel modded, once i see your stock and colors i can decide the rest. cause i have 2 360 se a 360 te and a ps3 se on the way then ill just sell the 2 360 se sticks lol

Interested on being put on the list to get my PS3 Te stick dual modded (for 360)…and curious about how much it would cost to have you dual mod(ps3/360) and install new stick and buttons (all sanwa) in my DC agetec?

I also will be attending Summer Jam in Philly with your current work load do you think I would have it back before the tourney or pick up at the tourney?

Do you do detachable RJ-45 mods for cables.

I’ll go ahead and put those in the queue since it’s an easy job for me. I hope the buttons/sticks arrive before the weekend but we’ll see.

Modding the TE is no problem.
For modding the agetec let me finish modding the one I’m working on. Right now the only issue I see is that mounting the stick may be an issue, and I’d like to resolve that before giving you a quote but if we add up the parts we can come to a rough idea of what it would cost:

$25 for the stick
$3 per button (6 buttons)
$25 for the cthulu
$10 for the Imp (unless you prefer a DPDT switch, which run about $5)
$25 for the 360 pad

That puts us at $103 before labor, wire, barrier strips, and other random small parts. I’d say after you add in all the small stuff and labor it’d probably come out to $125-150, but I’d only charge the upper end if mounting the stick was an absolute pain in the ass.

Again, let me finish the one I have so I can let you know how difficult it will be. I don’t see any particular reason for not having it done before Summer Jam.

Haven’t yet, waiting to try this on something I’m not selling to anyone before I offer the service. I’d rather not promise something I can’t deliver. I’ve done plenty of networking so I’m familiar with mounting RJ45 jacks in walls and how to properly crimp the cables so I don’t see this as an issue but I’d prefer not advertise it as a service if I haven’t done it for sticks specifically.

Sure, as long as the 360 PCB is common ground I don’t see a problem with doing that. I take it you have a custom case? The only other concern I have is whether it will all fit in the case, I myself have used some custom cases that couldn’t fit the default madkatz 360 pcb (depth issue) for which I had to use the fightpad they released recently.

I’ll take some pictures if I’m awake when I get off work.

Well…I’m hoping to get a case from Finkle soon, but that won’t happen anytime soon due to his personal busy-ness. I just want to prepare some things so i can put it together whenever i get it. I currently don’t have a 360 pcb yet. Think I can get back at you later whenever I find myself a 360 pcb?

edit: forgot to add that the 360 I have on my norris stick is almost the same size as the official controllers. I’m assuming the space wouldn’t take much compare to the other 360 pcb on some sticks I’ve seen here. Hopefully Finkle will make room for me to put 2 pcbs on there. =D

Definately.

I only comment on size because my own personal stick is a case I bought from TMO several years ago and it’s extremely thin on the bottom of the case (angled case) and with the plexi in there is maybe 1/2 to 3/4ths of an inch clearance at the bottom of the case expanding out to about 2 inches near the top.

Love the case to death, wish I had the skill to reproduce something like it. That’s why I stick to mods for the most part.

got my MAS at C3…its truly amazing… Pat put alot of hard work and time into it to get it ready for C3 for me and i appreciate that alot. He dual modded it and put in the IMP board as well. he also added the clear which is thick as shit and nice.

Unfortunately I live in a horrible place that has no Kinkos. Literally. No kinkos for 60 miles. I’m looking in to alternative ways of getting lami-label or vinyl stickers done, at the most extreme I’ll order a printer that can do large sized vinyl stickers or lami-label. I’ll let you know what happens with this.

Let me know if there is anything you’d like changed/etc. If you want to snap a couple pictures I would appreciate it, I just registered www.digitalplayservices.com to use as a website so I can host them. I kept getting asked for contact info so I decided to make business cards, and that’s the name I decided to use. Nothing is on the domain yet, but I’ll get something simple up within the week even if it’s just a photo album of sticks.

Imp or DPDT rocker switch. There are people who prefer one or the other. I won’t charge any different for either because imps are a bit more expensive but I have to make cuts in the case for the rocker switch so it comes out to be about the same in cost.
