i felt really bad after kicking this little kids ass online, his last words were “oh no” in a very distraught voice as his Blanka fell to the final blow in slow-mo 
my PP/BP is very low as i mostly play Endless & Tourny mode, which usually has some C & B level players…so when i go on ranked the little guys don’t stand a chance
i never give em a break though, it’s tough enough as it is playing Makoto
I resort in pretending to play at their level and keep our healths close. I’d let the person win a round, but I’ll ultimately take the match in the end.
I actually did this at the arcade a couple of weeks ago when this 10-year-old kid decided to challenge me. There was an audience still watching from a prior match, so I didn’t want to embarrass the kid or anything… Or make him quit fighting games for the matter. I tried really hard to make it look like a close match. :karate:
Nope… I mean, I’m not very good myself, but last time I ran into someone with 0pp/bp and a blank title icon… they seemed utterly helpless the first match ( akuma player using jump back fireballs and ground fireballs, but whiffing j/st.fp half the time instead type stuff ), so I played it simple and practiced some tight strings and kept it close and he won… same thing going into the second round… and then he suddenly took me from 80% to 0 with an insanely long reset combo, then some absurd vortex pressure, and then another insanely long reset combo into a perfectly baited Demon for the loss =/
I don’t play endless so I treat ranked like every other match. I know I’d hate it if I got trampled every time I tried playing, so I try to play every player on their level. It helps us both learn. I don’t care about the points. Sometimes they even win because I played it at their level.
