It looks like prone stance is a sort of follow up to some punch.
I’d guess it’s coward crouch input then punch for the follow up.

Watching him with the JPN voice heavily reminds me of Faust from Guilty Gear:
-Long normals to hit people on the ground
-Arcing projectiles to control the air
-Has a poison effect (albeit FANG relies on it, Faust’s is random)
-Odd mobility option (FANG’s command dash vs Faust’s teleport)
-That voice
Which is good because Faust is one of my favorite GG characters to play, and I am a sucker for status-hell in every RPG.

Not necessarily, remember how they started rolling out the entire cast little by little during the last day of the previous beta? Could do something like that, but I agree, if they released him, with the cracked version already making waves, some people who dont want it for online would feel like they dont need the game lol.
I still say sudoku watch. When they did roll out the characters for the last set of betas they usually said something like “you’ll see some surprises along the way”. No mention of surprises here, just 15 characters to enjoy.
Seeing how much we bitch about the current 15 cast, I’m assuming Capcom just wants us to wait for launch to figure out Fang. The crying about Fang would be real if he was any stronger than he needed to be. Poison projectiles and V Trigger gonna make the kids cry for sure.
I’m pretty tight about FANG just not even getting to be playable before release. Shit is wack.
Capcom has to hide one character after all of those leaks LOL

I’m eager to try out FANG the more I see of him. I kind of love gimmicky things like Poison, so I’m curious to see if FANG fits my niche, so to speak.
He looks great, even if you play someone who’s great at blocking, grey damage and poison could be total gamechanger.

I always thought he’d be a charge character in the end; I’m glad they kept it that way except for that one DP+kick move. I’ve usually mained charge so i’ll feel comfortable with him.
Yeah, we’re gonna need nicknames for those moves. No way I recognize those names.
Also weird that its a DP not a circle motion.
