Exploiting the Bottom: The Series!

Uh…I know jin sucks and all, but I like him. I use him with Jin/Juggs(variety)/capcom

…Glitch juggs if possible…

Lets see:

-What Jin lacks in mobility, I think he makes up for with damage. I’m pretty basic with him…jump in, attack, combo, damage, done.

Basic combo stuff with juggs body splash:
-j.fp, land, s.lk, s.fp + juggs, blodia punch. Does about 75% life on normal damage characters if juggs is glitched, option to go for another BP…I only do this if its going to kill. Does a ton a life on assist, too.

-j.fp, land, s.lk, s.fp + juggs, blodia vulcan. Does less damage than the BP, but sets up a DHC headcrush nicely. If you hit an assist + point character, DHC to glitched HC will kill assist and a lot of times, the point character as well.

-Jin unblockable with juggs in corner: [opp blocking] j.fp, land, s.lp + juggs, c.fk, assist hits, BP. Basically juggs hits high and jin hits low, and you cant block both ways. Its rollable, so don’t abuse it too much.

-In corner: J.fp, land, s.lp, s.fp + juggs, assist hits, dash in s.fp xx BP, c.lk(otg), s.fp…from here you have a few options, you can BP again if you want or (my fav) is to tag in Juggs, then HC death. …However, that tag out is character dependent. Flashy, though.

-In corner: J.fp, land, s.lp, s.fp + juggs, assist hits, c.fk (whiff/close gap), dynomite(otg) xx Typhoon…

-Dumb THC: juggs/jin (2 meters), s.lp, s.fp, THC…opponent eats HC, thrown up into typhoon…fun. (character dependent and I think only works on the right side of the screen.)

@9Revolta

I don’t think you had to quote me on this. I think you should of posted it by itself. I agree with most of it, except THC. I don’t think teams need a THC. But everything else is pretty much true. This is true not only for low-tier teams, but for all teams. So yeah. Good post.

@xxPhilopiaxx

Good shit my nigga!! You got to post this in the sticky. Like…now. lol

@Cee Dizzy

I just do that sometimes, Idk. But are you talking about the keys to a low-tier team with the THC? Its not required, but having a good THC in your low-tier package is always a plus. You never know when you need that in a match, and some low-tier THC’s do a lot of damage (like a Morrigan, BBHood,etc.) When you want to snuff out an annoying opponent spamming all over the place getting on your damn nerves, you can THC em and erase most of the team. They’ll wake up and stop playing like that real quick. Some teams are based on THC alone, like all BBHood teams or most Juggs teams. I like low-tier THC’s, its funny to me to blast away opponents with it. You can have BBHood/Hulk/Juggs and destroy your opponent with ease…

The Rouge thread is up. I gotta get to bed for school tomorrow. G’night all!!!

This thread looks fun. Plus I’m bored at work. Here’s a look at my personal favorite team to play cause it’s so goddamn fun.

Morrigan/Felicia/Rouge AKA Team Charlie’s Angels

Morrigan

Pros:
[]Great all around character. She can play keep away, rush down or both, whatever suits your style of play.
[
]Awesome Air dash. The most unique one in the game IMO. Helps get you from one side of the screen to the other real quick. Great for keep away.
[]Think of her as a shoto with an air dash, tri-jump and command grab.
Cons:
[
]Can’t combo into HC’s without help from assists (except for the uppercut super which sucks).
[]No real damage outside of HC’s and mix ups.
[
]Has no good match ups against the top 8 (whereas Felicia and Rouge can hold their own against some of the top contenders)
Tips and tricks
[]You can Soul fist as many times as you like coming down from the air. You can follow her lp one by air dashing after it, giving you like a one hit shield. It makes real good use for her rush down game. When playing someone new I like to just sit back and throw air FB’s at them to see how they react. If they sit back and block then usually they’re gonna be holding back for most of the round. Which means I’m gonna have to start coming up with a rush down strategy depending on their assist. If they try to get around them then I know I’m gonna have to focus on my keep away game more. Wait for them to come to me, then go on the offense. Morrigan is very versatile.
[
]When Tri-jumping or even rushing in on the ground use jab. On the ground it’s her fastest poke. In the air it’s quick and has a high hit box making tri-jumping with Morrigan legit.
[]D.FK (downward drill) is sick. It drops you out of the sky getting you to the ground quick, but moreover it’s the heart of her mix up game. Whenever you hit your opponet(blocked or hit) with D.FK it puts Morrigan in normal jump mode. Meaning Morrigan can call an assist after down drill even if its at the top of her SJ. If you don’t air dash during your jump you can use it after you hit the drill as well which brings me to…
[
]The Morrigan reset/loop: Launch->SJ.lk->D.FK(drill)->call Rouge AA+dash to the other side. What happens is this. The drill drops your opponet stright down and pushes morriagan up/back plus putting her in normal jump mode. Call assist and AD right away. Rouge’s AA has hella start up frames so it give Morrigan enough time to cross to the other side just as Rouge hits, causing your opponet to block the other way. It doesnt put your opponet in FS so the screen stays with Morrigan and your opponets character on the bottom out of sight along with your assist they wont be able to see coming. Example of other assist to try with: Thanos-Cap/Gambit-Proj/Sabertooth-Expan/Spiderman-AA.

Last Morrigan trick. Credit goes to Justin K, the best Morrigan player out there. In the corner with your opponet coming in from snap back or death. Time your Darkness Illusion super so that the character coming in lands on top of Morrigan. What happens is even though Morrigan doesnt look like she’s hitting on the opposite side, she is. And since the animation has 2 Morriagan come out it make it hard for your opponet to kno what side he actually got hit on (I"m not sure half the time). I can’t count how many “WTF I WAS BLOCKING THAT!” I’ve gotten. This trick will no joke work 80%-90% of the time.

I was gonna do Felicia too, but I’m almost off and I wanna play more ff13. Next week I guess.
