Execution Problems

Madcatz TE2

I’m about to throw it in the garbage.

Problem: J mk + s mp + cr HP xx H srk xx super

Inputting the srk releases a super.
The input arrows in training shows i input a forward at the end.

But in my hand movement, I stop at the 7:30 position (p2 side), not at 9:00.

Is it a worn 4 gate joystick causing this?
I feel like i have to stop the motion at 6:00 for it to register at 7:30, if that makes sense.

I’m about to throw this imprecise 4 square gate in the garbage. I’m thinking an octagonal gate would result in more precision.

Or is it just me…

@ParryThis Switching to an Octagonal gate won’t help your execution problems.

I find this sequence to be the easiest way to execute that combo:

:mp:, :df: :hp:, :qcf: :hp:, :qcf: :hp:

I’ll give it a try.

Bassicly to avoid the CA coming out before the SRK I had to do the SRK doing the crouching HP with downforward, hold down HP then wiggle the stick from downforward to downback and back to downforward, let go of the HP button to do the SRK (negitave edge), roll the stick from downforward to forward and tap the button for the CA

Just make sure you are holding down when you do the input for the srk to avoid the super from coming out
