Execution problems

I realize this is not something uncommon to struggle with, but yeah. I wonder how I can consistently stop accidently cancelling a shoryuken after a medium kick or punch when what i meant to do was to throw a fireball. I know it is because it remembers my input and stuff, but i don’t really know how to avoid it. FADC combos are hard :frowning:

This means you are pressing forward before the fireball motion try having the stick/analog/dpad (whatever your using) on neutral when you throw the punch/kick, because when you do forward into fireballmotion and punch you are basically doing the Z motion which is the shoryuken. Hope this helps.

This one comes up a lot:

Thanks for answer guys. I realize I have developed a lot of bad habits when it comes to the motion of the stick. Any tips on how to do st.mp xx shoulder without accidently doing cr.mp xx shoulder all the time? Sorry if I ask really stupid questions.

Shoulder? Yun?

I’m assuming it’s Yun, i hold forward during st.mp, afterwards i do another qcf input+lp
I end the qcf actually in down-forward, so i don’t complete the complete qcf motion to avoid the risk of accidentally getting super.
