Unless you’re in a spot where you can do frame traps on him, you probably want to stay pretty far from Balrog. If you see him walk forward, then that means he has surrendered charge and you only have to worry about normals, use that to your advantage.
The Guy matchup…I am beginning to suspect he wins it mostly due to how easy it is for him to put himself in her AA deadzones with elbow drop

Hmmm, back to the drawing board then. I am still not used to having a low profile option since Bison has none lol.
Decapre has i think 4 moves that beat elbow clean, but cr.mk/hk are the easiest.
Didn’t think about sweep, hell I barely use that normal. I’ll have to play with that but only after I get the timing down for her cr.mk.
Out of curiosity what are the other two normals?
You can also do scramble/cross up break if you read the elbow well enough in advance; it has no hitbox behind it and it takes forever.
Thanks! Played more Balrogs after and did loads better. After I get the life lead I turtle charging uppercut right out of that light straight punch range. Everything out of that ranged I can react to. Just in case anyone else was having trouble with him… 
I was gonna draw up a matchup chart but there’s so many 5-5s, quite a few 4-6s and very few 6-4s in her favour.
We talk a lot about bad matchups but what do people think are good matchups so far?

Only matchups where I feel I am always on my backfoot are Bison, Hugo, Ibuki, Viper, Fuerte
Nothing else feels particularly difficult though Juri is awkward as you can’t safely pressure after forcing her to block hands, you can use mp hands on her sometimes for extra meter though which is cool. She requires you to play differently, even though it’s not a bad matchup and might even be good.
Fuerte you have to get in before he has EX meter and keep pressure up. I don’t know if it’s a bad match per se, but it’s definitely awkward.
I’d agree with ya there. Personally, I’d put Seth in the 6-4 bracket but I lack the match experience to say this 100%
I’d also put Gouken in the favourable section
Hmm I have been struggling against cammy a bit I believe alioune said he thought cammy wins that just curious what makes you like that matchup?

I personally think that Adon is slightly in advantage against Decapre. He has some nasty options to open up your guard like crossup instant air Jaguar kick, and every combo into lk rising jaguar leads to a setup you cant Psycho Sting, cant focus backdash reliably, cant dash forward under his jump so the only option is to guard. S.hp seems to be the only normal to beat his s.hk reliably (S.hk can beat it too but less often in my opinion) but sadly it is easy to whiff punish.
Also, i never succeeded in punishing Adon EX rising jaguar when it whiffs during a jumping. Any tips?

My flowchart regarding Decapre matchups is simple:
Is it a grappler? Crap
Is is a charge character? Meh
Is it anything else? No problem.
Is is a mirror match? Get bopped.
More or less that. I’m intrigued at what makes decapre good against Guy though Veserius. I’m struggling with that matchup somehow. Same with Cammy.
Well I’ve put down my personal matchup chart (not for all Decapres as I can imagine many of you will have different bad matchups). The bad matchups are more significant than the good matchups though. I do think that she will be fairly viable against the most of the top tier set of characters but she does seem awful in her bad matchups though.
I’ve left Viper and Hakan out because I don’t have enough matchup experience yet against those 2 characters.
