So I am getting really tired as a Birdie of playing against Guile and other chars that have fireballs. I hate when I go against a person that abuses it. Am I wrong in feeling this way? I see it as being a cheap way of covering up the fact that you don’t know how to play, do combos, etc. I ask myself is it any different from when I use banana against Gief but I think it is. I use banana to combo off of and set up other things. I don’t just throw bananas down non-stop. Am I right in not wanting to play against players who just spam fireballs? I think it’s a really lame and cheap way to play. Instead of testing my Street Fighter abilities, you’re testing my timing at jumping over shit using a fight stick. Just my two cents.

Projectile spamming has been a fundamental concept of Street Fighter for forever; it’s not going away. Fireballs have progressively gotten weaker between entries of the series however. I don’t play birdie so I can’t help you, but I can feel your pain of struggling against projectile spammers (especially Nash) since I play Chun. I can’t just pocket or parry or reflect all those sonic booms.
