No… Mak dashes under jump-ins… You must’ve just picked up Mak :P… Mak is a destroyer of jump-ins… 'Cept Hugo’s…
oh no I mean in SF4 with various characters
like I play a lot of Chun in SF4 and think I can just walk or dash under their jump ins and it never works and I end up eating kicks to the head
there’s other 3s stuff I try in 4 and it doesn’t work as well. my brief attempts at playing SF4 Ibuki have not gone well. not too many similarities between them it seems like.
hmmm that sounds like it sucks, I love walking and dashing under jumps.
keep jumpy kens in check with a low forward>houyoku lol
Lol. My bad. Yeah. I tried doing that in SF4… Didn’t work… And the way they butchered Makoto -__-… Entirely turned me off to the game.
I tried playing SF4… Really did… But you can’t “impose your will,” in that game. Every fight feels like 3S Chun v. Chun w/ no parries at a slower pace and a lack of block stun… Even then… Chun v. Chun in 3S is more fun and intellectually stimulating rather than the patience factor that you have to produce to win in SF4…
THIS
lol i know, im east coast so the distance is understandable, too bad though, id love to see what they can do.
Personally i think Capcom has been going about making fighting games recently for the wrong crowd, i mean i know its nice to introduce new people (such as myself) to the fighting game genre by making it easier to learn, but at the same time they should have been making better versions of those games for their competitive fan-base…i mean has anyone ever told Capcom that people play tournaments of their games? But i digress, sf4 to me was a really bad game, its slow, and the fights are block>focus cancel>attack and…that’s my opinion.
redlarry has a better twelve than browdog, and he parries better too.
redlarry, yeah that’s the other notable Twelve player. I haven’t run into him on ranked in a good while.
i played both of them. Redlarry is definitely better with spacing and execution. He parries better too.
Invincible back dash
-_______________-… wtf…
You beat me to it hjap. I meant to bring up redlarry when I read that post but forgot. Had some ggs with him.
For some reason browndogs will almost never play me these days. Maybe its that he thinks im too laggy or maybe its because i beat him most of the time but it pisses me off a little. Since i never run into redlarry anymore i’ve stopped learning how to play that matchup
I’ve been beating players that are>>>>> better than me with Twelve…
I just think that people lack matchup knowledge considering that I can win with jump hp 99% of the time…
It’s hard to win with Twelve against people that know how to tech every throw… I make sure I’m creative with those, but in the end, a good player will see them coming a mile away…
People really hate playing against Twelve for some reason, win or lose…
is it really that bad? I havent played much sf4
