They say c.mk xx SA is easy and cheap and that’s why this game sucks.
Why is it that at least 90% of online Chun players have no idea how to do this and they just do random SA2 without hit confirms?

Yeah that sounds like the one. It was ugly as fuck. LOL. Zero salt losing to something that beastly, though.
Because 1. random SA2 is easier than cr mk hc xx SA2 2. it’s not as easy as people claim it is and most of those guys are playing theory fighter more than basing their opinion on actual experience 3. most people are idiots, unfortunately

Well, call out in the sense of “dude, you clearly play all the time, you should drop by!” haha not an asshole “you suck” call out, but a man-to-man, stern but constructively critical and from a place of care. The honest reason I don’t go on anymore is that I was PS3 only when I first started playing on UYG. Two years after SF4 came out, I found myself still playing all the time, so I’d been thinking about getting a 360 since it was supposed to be so much better for online, and then when the PSN outage happened, I went for it, and while I think the difference in quality can be exaggerated, I don’t have much reason to get on PS3 unless it’s to play someone specific… such as, you!
We should play in 3S, at least, since 3SOE isn’t exactly flooded with serious and friendly players.

Who the heck is EatableTech? That player is seriously quite good. I played his Necro, Yun and Yang today. Some talent for sure. Who is he?

I’m actually 10x more afraid of his Yang than any of his other characters, including Chun. And I’m normally not that afraid of Yang players.

I still play a lot of Elena, but started playing Chun and Ken online. when I first got OE I figured “everyone will be playing Chun and people will think I’m cheap for using such a good character, I’ll play Elena so they have nothing to complain about”
then over time I realized I was being pretty silly and regardless of what character I play I lose to the good players anyway, so might as well play the same characters I play offline.
so these days I play Chun Ken and Elena on a rotation, and mix in Makoto sometimes because I’d really like to be good at Makoto some day. unfortunately the “get good at Makoto” thing is better in theory than in practice on my end.
but yeah definitely whenever we’re online I’d love to get some games in. if you can put up with my fisher price internet I’m always down.
Chunny hey? You should play her. For some reason she is a rare sight online there are only a handful of players and even less than that playing her seriously with some skill. I feel my Chun-Li experience is super limited and would like to try some out with you since I believe we are both relatively new to the whole 3S thing.
I imagine his Chun is less scary on 3sOE. He pays much less with Yang if he screws up a hit confirm due to magic hit/non-hits.

yeah I guess I’m relatively new. been playing 3s for maybe 1 1/2 years now? it was an accident that I ever got into it, really. my friend and I were looking for something to rent and then we were like “oh Street Fighter Anniversary Collection, remember SF2? that was fun when we were kids.” then we tried out 3s and thought the art style and movement were awesome and ended up playing it on emulator and then PS2 for the next year-ish until OE came out. I think my friend and I have made a good amount of progress in that time period but I still lose to like everyone I’ve played from this board so I know I’ve still got a long way to go.
anyway life story aside, yeah I can definitely play some Chun. there’s probably a lot of people here who play her better than me but I’ve at least got a decent idea of how she functions and plays.
That’s not saying much since everybody can play Chun.
