whilst i was frustrated, im currently working with my elena and chun-li, hopefully im going to start moving on to either oro or akuma next, not sure which one though, i might just stay away from the shoto characters, they bore the living daylights out of me.

I will do that if someone is very basic or not familiar with the game. I want to see if they will learn as the match carries on, so yeah i do pull punches.
lol last night got raped on repeat by hispanicjap for about an hour and then got raped by eatabletech for another hour right afterword. hats off to both those players. makes me realize how shit I am at this game.
Don’t let that affect you. You can gain from those losses. You need to figure out what was happening throughout your matches. It is good to save some replays when you play solid players, then you can go back and critique your game. It is easy to see what you were doing wrong, and where you need to capitalize on their mistakes.
Believe me, I analyze everything. Often times I see my mistakes when I make them and ask myself “why the fuck did I do that”. My other issue is online I seem to have horrible execution. I miss kara throws, hit sweep instead of option select kara throw, get lightning legs instead of super. …the list goes on and on.
I’ve only been really playing the game since OE came out and know there are people out there with like 10 years experience that play half the cast. Which blows my mind because (at least with playing chun) there is so much goes on in the game that you don’t visually see (kara’s/option selects) and don’t know is happening unless you’re familiar enough with it.
On top of that, I carry over some habits from Guilty Gear that don’t work out so well in this game (block low on wake up by default, stay in the corner the whole match long)
You must be mashing cuz there is no way lightning legs should be coming out instead of super. When you do a super just drum all three buttons.
You’re supposed to block low on wake up. Block low react high. That’s not a bad habit at all.
Of course I mash. I drum the super but I usually do it twice as well as doing a quarter circle forward more than twice. Offline or in training mode it’s not a issue but online it doesn’t really register like it’s suppose to. 
At least not for me.
You need to make sure your hands are as relaxed as possible. If I can keep mine relaxed, you can do the same with yours.
Don’t over exaggerate your inputs, especially double QCFs. They’re very easy if you just take your time and hit each corner, you have a lot more time to input them than you think.
Work on lightly ‘pianoing’ your fingers across the corresponding row of buttons for your super.
If I can get my supers to come out with ease online and off, you can too.
Holy shit lol. Well that’s why your execution sucks. That is a horrible way to go about doing supers. All you need is 2 qcf and drum the kick buttons one time. Practice it. Mashing doesnt work in this game.
Yeah, even if it’s online it’s a habit you’re going to have to drop. Even when I was struggling with getting Supers out I just did it like on the arcade: qcfx2 xx PPP/KKK piano once.
You have to use the force.
You don’t even need to do a full second QCF; you just need down and down-forward on the second. Makes hit confirming rather easy if you buffer the first QCF during the normal, and if it hits, just a straight shot from down to down-forward… Well, I say “rather easy”, but my execution is pretty awful too.
Heh, I thought it was pretty considerate of you. The only time I go easy on her is when I’m trying to teach her something new, and even then, I’m not that gentle… Hope to bump into you again sometime, it was rather fun.
I didn’t really think it needed to be mentioned, but to anyone reading this, you should NEVER feel content mashing to get something to come out. Precision is always better
lol offline isn’t a problem but …as it’s been stated before on these boards “I have the worst internet connection in existence”. I live in the Sierra Nevada mountians miles and miles from any form of decent civilization. so my internet at it’s best is probably half as good as most of yours at it’s worst. I probably pay twice as much as most of you too. FML
I know some of you are like “why bother to even play online then” …well if you lived where I lived you’d know there is nothing else better to do.
