On a related note… it’s been bugging me for a while now but I’m finally taking steps to figure out wtf the guy says when you choose characters… I was told that the first thing he says is “yeah, I’ve got the picture!”… There seems to be a consensus about that one. Regarding the second phrase, so far the only interpretation I’ve found is “yeah, that makes sense!” But that doesn’t sound right to me. It’s always sounded like “now, with a raised fist!” Or maybe “(something, I been waitin’ for this!” But I wouldn’t bet a nickel on either of those being right.

Third Strike (Classic menu music in 3SOE) has some unintelligable parts that not even some lyric sites could decihper. Other than that I remember the whole song. That Adam Tensta or whoever song that’s the default is fucking awful, first time playing 3SOE I got so sick of the kno- kno- kno- knock you out part that I tried to minimize the time I spend in the main menues as much as I could, you can imagine trying to find a match in ranked was hell. Thank God for the Third Strike menu music, only thing IG did right in this game probably.

I’m rank… 15? And I believe I’m rank 17 on PSN? I spent just a week or two on PSN playing a fair amount of ranked each day on PSN before I got it for XBL. What’s funny is stumbling into a lobby of people who clearly aren’t serious or experienced players, and they all have headsets on… I usually don’t talk to them, and they’re all rank 1-5… and they’re like, “oh SHIT, rank FIFTEEN???” The other day this happened and I won a fight with KKZ, and they all freaked out and one guy said “I’VE NEVER SEEN THAT BEFORE…!!!1!1!!!”
Not hating on them at all - in fact it’s awesome that there are people who play 3S just because they think it’s really fun and not because they have been going to tournaments for years or whatever. But I do find it a little bit strange… I mean, who plays a twelve year-old game, nine months or whatever after it was re-released, but hasn’t spent, I don’t know… the hour of general 3S reading on the internet to find out that KKZ exists? I guess it’s not my personality to spend months and months dabbling in a decade old game, but hey, different strokes.

If you want to experience real 3s, then you must play Papiizy, Eatabletech, and Tantallicbuttons(spelling may be wrong). They will help you level up and show you true 3s gameplay. They don’t do gimmicks, and they will teach you things as well. I haven’t played others who were this strong. Surewin can be thrown into the mix as well. Hoon is one of my favorite people to fight on PSN. Been playing against him since Online Edition came out… Feel like I’ve learned so much from him, but the difference in experience is still tremendous. I wonder how scary he could be if got his stick fixed, rather than just playing on pad…
