this glitch has the potential to be extremely game breaking
ex seismo coming back is big but what about adding throw invincability to a bunch of moves like hp tk feint abels roll goukens counters etc? once people explore the potential of this itll probably end up changing the game until ono gets off his ass and makes a patch.
I wonder how difficult this is… It doesn’t look it but, there might be some strict timing involved. Time to hit training mode and explore this some more.
Those characters can’t SJC so, this technique wouldn’t work for them. It only works for Viper and Ibuki since they’re the only characters with a Super Jump.

every single character can do it even charge characters. the only exception is if its a sonic boom like move obviously because if you move the stick up forward you just get their flash kick special

It still loses to everything EX Seismo already lost, but now you’re trading your strike invincibility for just a few frames of throw invincibility.
Hp tk feint is throw invincible on start up i thought…
Yes!!! in anime voice… E… x… seismo… it’s back… impossible exodia!!!1 Ahhhhhhhhh
Seriously? I still don’t think it’s gamebreaking, though
yeah its nothing like the old ex seismo. Its just a gimmicky way to counter a meaty throw if your 100% sure its gonna come. Old EX Seismo would counter meaty attacks and meaty throw. If you do this you will get hit by meaty attacks, meaning youll most likely eat a full combo. So no, EX Seismo of old is not back.
oh it loses strike invincability meaning you could get combo’d with abel if you jump cancelled ex roll instead.
bleh still good because there were alot of times id read a throw from an opponent and do ex seismo only to end up getting thrown when ae 2012 first dropped
i should have a copy of the game and go to the lab before i mouth off
Well it still counts as some sort of buff IMO. But we all might as well stick to fierce tk feint, that is what I use every time I would use an ex seismo feint. But it still helps
