So I’ve recently picked up the new EX Gear Hayabusa Octo gate from Arcade Shock and man oh man this thing is amazing. The shape and size is the same as the JLF octo gate which I prefer over the Kowal gate. I got this bad boy modded with a 4 lbs spring, PAS .5mm oversized actuator, and crown bat top. This is the perfect setup for me. I had a 1mm oversized but it gave me input errors and was too sensitive. The .5mm makes all the difference, the engage and throw is in my sweet spot now. I also had a 2 lbs spring but it was still loose for me, the Crown bat top is not metal but has some weight to it so with a 4lbs spring it feels snappy and perfect for my play style. Thank you so much for making this EX Gear! You can really feel the corners better than the Octopus gate. The minute I played on this setup the curtains opened by themselves, the clouds parted, and a ray of sunshine hit my fightstick.
