Ex corner resets?

Just curious if anyone got a concrete idea on what to do with ex hayate corner resets.

Last time I saw a topic about this it seemed like there was no definitive answer.

I’ve seen standing forward, c.mp, f.lk, s.fp on alex/hugo. Just curious what I should be aiming for or if someone actually managed to break it down character by character.

Does s.forward work on everyone? If so maybe I’ll just use that. I know you can lp hayate some characters but I can never remember who(chun?).

Also if the ex hayate results in stun for some reason do the options change at all?

Believe me haunts, I owe a lot to your topic, I’ve read it many times, it is my makoto bible.

It just seems like it was missing some things like any mention of s.forward or the hayate.

I just want to know what the best option is for each character other then s.fp with hugo/alex.

i know standing forward works on dudley, and urien. cr. strong works on urien too, along with strong hayate. standing fp on alex/hugo, jab hayate on both of them too. jab hayate works on Q, alex, hugo, chun, makoto, and elena i think. there might be more, but i’m not too sure.

toward short works on everyone too i think.

I made that post a while back, full of goodies eh. Theres always more things you can do to all the characters, but those are the best options I believe.

does jab hayate work on oro/ibuki?

no, but toward short does.

jab hayate works on oro, ibuki and akuma but the timming fairly strict
