According to Blaziniflo, Mike “Mixup” was undefeated in his 16 man bracket and qualified for todays 32 man bracket. There wasn’t any big names in Mike’s bracket, that I was informed about.
Blaziniflo got third in his bracket. Lost to Rowtron and I think Randy Lu.

I’m pulling for Mixup since he’s Atlantic South, but that’s just because I like to root for the home team.
I really hope Shadyk does well too, I remember always hearing how he was the best mags player, and now we have Mixup and Soo, and a few other notable Mag players… and Shady kind of retired, then came back. He’s placed well in the last couple tournies, I really hope he plays top notch.
The thing is, I don’t play MvC2 anymore, and this is making me excited. I hope the 5 vs 5 is both teams at their peak, even though without Ricky and Sanford, it’s not really at it’s peak… but I mean, Mixup vs Soo, Justin vs Row… That’s the kind of thing that makes me want to buy a DVD. I wish I was there, because that’s where you can actually feel the tension, and hearing the crowd roar in approval at a well timed combo is just not the same as being there doing it yourself.
Good luck everyone, and Ricky has me up in arms after sending the Japanese guy to the losers bracket. It makes me smile to know America is catching up in terms of skill.
