Long ShadyK Tran (Mag Storm Psy) vs Rodolfo Rowtron Castro (Sent Cable Mag)
Can shady pull it off? The round starts and shady is getting punished, but he gets in and does some damage, but does not capitalise on the chance. Shady’s mag gets peaced out by chip, and his storm comes in w/ full meter. Shady tries to get in but Cable - AAA keeps him out. Shady gets a nice hit ls xx la on row and row brings in cable, fucking up a combo, shady’s psylocke narrowly missing getting ahvbed. Shady closes in but storm gets chipped to death by ahvb. Shady’s psylocke on her own is quickly peaced out by rows sent. 1-0 Rowtron.
2nd game, shady pulls out MSP again. shady misses an infinite, and is trying to rush sent down but is getting kept out by cable aaa. He catches row in infinite again - but fucks up. shady accidently swaps in psy - but dhcs to storm, KILLING row’s sent. Shady plays runaway, flying all over row’s cable. … still running. Shady finally gets a hit in, but misses the ls xx la combo. shady’s psy gets ahvbed, shady tries to save her but row dhcs to tempest and shady is hit. row nails shadys mag with his own and then kills psy. row wins 2-0. ShadyK Eliminated, with Randy Lew the only remaining cali player.
Match 5 WINNERS BRACKET FINALS
Ricky Ortiz (storm sent commando) vs Justin Wong (mag cable sent-a)
wong rushes and snaps out storm. he cant get to commando fast enough and ricky brings in sent. ricky fails to mash out of justin’s grav tempest, and then another one, and loses sent. ricky’s storm nails justin’s mag but wong bring cable in and its AHVB time on ricky’s commando. ricky lands an ls xx la but its not enough and justin ahvbs for the win. 1-0 Justin.
game 2 and same teams. ricky uses an early hailstorm and then runs away, with justin trying to keep her grounded. justin gets the double snapback on storm and capcom and relaunches commando to death. justin now rushes storm down, ricky gets a lucky launch and does ls xx la dhc to hsf to peacae out justin’s mag. ricky accidentally tags in storm and gets ahvb chipped to death. wong ahvbs rickys sent, the match gets boring, stuff happens and justin wins. 2-0 Justin. Ricky is sent to losers.

Kuan (storm sent commando) vs Wigfall (mag cable sent)
Kuan starts off strong, nearly killing wig’s mag and half his cable. Commando gets snapped in but finishes off wig’s mag. Kuan’s storm comes back in and catches wig with LS dhc to HSF. His sent/storm stomps on wig’s sent in the corner, leaving him no room to escape. Wig manages to get out but Kuan quickly locks him back down with relentless fastfly stomping. Kuan wins, 1-0
Game 2 and Wig is playing the same team.
kuan is getting some nasty hits in with sent, and dhcs to storm, but wig gets the double snapback and relaunches commando. Wigs cable comes in and ahvbs kuans sent twice, kuans storm comes in and is rushing down cable. kuan gets caught in a grenade but wig uses a ground HVB =[ and kuans rush continues. wig dhcs to sent and kills storm, and then wig finishes off sent, without losing a character. 1-1
Game 3 and the same teams are played yet again.
kuan is having trouble at first, but gets a good hit and dhcs to sent, sorry was brb but anyway kuan wins with a string of dhcs, 2-1. peace out wig

Row (Mag Cable Sent) vs Randy (Cable Sent Commando)
row had randy’s cable in the corner earlier on, but rows cable assist gets ahvbed twice. row is in trouble, losing his mag, and row manages to land a few ahvbs for landing a GROUND AHVB. randy retaliates and almost kills rows cable. row makes a comeback with sent and narrowly wins 1-0
2nd game, row’s mag is going CRAZY on randy. he does a huge chunk of damage on randy’s cable, and then his sent, and then infinites commando, does a reset and then… tags in cable??? he dhcs to sent, and randy only has cable left. randy catches row in a 3x ahvb but rows cable comes in and finishes the job. row wins, 2-0
MATCH 8 LOSERS BRACKET SEMIS

kuan first picked out the wrong characters, so row did a mini combo exhibition. with the right characters picked, row rushes the fuck out of kuan’s mag, and then dhcs to storm. kuans mag is peaced out and row nails kuans cable, dhcing to sent. row cant get in on kuans cable, and kuan ahvbs row’s sent. row’s mag looks in trouble but makes a comeback when kuan brings in sent. kuan has only cable left and is quickly peaced out by row’s mag. 1-0 row.
2nd round kuan has storm sent commando. row rushes the f uck out of kuan again but kuan lands a launch and dhcs to sent, killing rows mag. kuan corners rows storm but row returns the favour, dhcing to hsf and almost killing kuans sent. kuan dhcs through commando back to storm, and catches row with an ls xx la, but row finishes off kuans storm. row dhcs to sent but brings back storm and then kuan finishes off row with sent comm! 1-1
