Stream blacked out, and after refreshing the page the stream is as bad as before.

Lmfao the stream got worse for me after the “fix”.
G4 did a bazillion hours of E3. Why not take one weekend to switch it up by having constant coverage of EVO when its going on? It’d be something besides putting on X-Play for the 10000th time, and it’d suck more people into fighting games. No streaming BS… live TV!
I’d rather pay for a quality stream than get free trash. Just because it’s free doesn’t make the quality acceptable.
after teh stream came back up it was working perfectly then i went to get something to eat and now it’s choppy as hell. :crybaby:
and yeah it’s a free stream but at the same time it’s in evo’s best interest to make a great stream because if they want bigger sponsorships they need people to view their stream. also this is the ballroom of cesar’s palace and the stream is being sponsored by stickam. it’s not like the evo people picked a random site to dump its monster viewship upon but stickam is sponsoring it and should know full well what to expect.
Stream is shit, been lagging and chopping all day…
Devastation had a great stream this year (and last), and that was also free. I’m sure Evo is capable of having a decent stream.
The solution for me is to just keep refreshing until you get a good spot on the stickam server where they don’t drop you randomly for a second causing that lag. Once you get the good spot on the server make sure not to refresh as you will lose it and probably get lag again.

yeah there’s no excuse. you have a premiere venue like cesar’s palace and you have a website that specializes in streaming sponsoring the stream. there are 13k viewers right now. that is nowhere near the max that evo had watching last year so this should be well within the bandwidth that stickam estimated they should need.
