this really is a shame and a joke. for me it’s a little better now than it was this afternoon but it still lags and skips a lot.
the whole free thing is a terrible argument and shouldn’t be an excuse for this shitty quality. they should give us the best quality stream they can give us but they obviously didn’t. i’m hoping its better this weekend but i doubt it.

i get really happy when 1 match every 5 or 6 actually makes it the whole way through w/o stuttering like crazy or totally dropping out
5-10 sec lag is just unwatchable, it does seem better now than a while back tho.
Yea the audio is consistent, but the video is all over the place.
Yea its really REALLY terrible. Devastation had a flawless stream. I didn’t get any lag AT ALL. This is just sad for a tourney the size of EVO that they can’t even get a quality stream. Well i guess it is what it is.
well the thing that is puzzling is that levelup stream is generally fine so i don’t see what the problem is when it came to evo. it’s fucking retarded and probably had to do with this g4 shit.
Maybe Stickam doesn’t quite have the bandwidth for 10,000 viewers on a single stream. Maybe they need to have mirrored streams to split the bandwidth? Dunno just throwing stuff out there.
I would assume that’s the case. I’m guessing they could at least ensure that they have the paltry bandwidth required to get the stream out from Evo --> Stickam.
Sad stuff though, this is skipping crazy hard.
I’m sure they have some sort of deal signed with Stickam that will prevent them from streaming elsewhere simultaneously.
Hopefully they pull some strings and get it fixed for the matches tomorrow.
In theory they should be mirroring the stream on different servers in different continents.
Or at least I hope so, because otherwise it would be ridiculous.
The picture quality of the stream is great but man if it doesn’t suck when it stutters.
