So I was just bored and thought up of a exhibition that could be fun to see for UMVC3, specifically for EVO. A tournament that gets everyone from everywhere to play. A same character 3v3 tournament, what I mean by this is something like a Viper team going against a Magneto team. Pretty much every top player has a signature character that they’re proud of, so this is a good way to show it off.
Obviously not every character would have a team, but I just think it could be an interesting thing to think about. I doubt it will happen, but why not just think about what the dream teams would be?
Rules:
- I feel like it would go, every set being 3 out of 5, but make it single elim.
- 1 player can’t be on multiple teams. (F.Champ can’t be on the Doom and Dorm team, Chris G can’t be on the Morrigan and Ryu team, etc.)
- A “*” next to players name is someone who I think would be guaranteed to be on that team. It would just be the choice of the player on which character they would like to represent.
- Once again, this is just bullshitting. Probably won’t happen, but just a cool idea to think about.
