ite, its a bet
Wait, Rowtron as an alternate?
Is Seattle even GOING to Evo this year?
wc vs ec vs potter
Dollar bills on liqour. Good shit stepping your game up.
yall are pretty retarded. no joke…
reset is top 3 in so cal ATLEAST. iono why you wouldnt have him on the team. he would kill all of yall. but since this is an event and all about giving the people what they want, Im giving my spot to potter. you guys seem to want him on it. and I personally wouldnt be able to pick out anyone else but myself out of reset, duc, chunk, and chris. I dont really give a fuck if potter declines or not. hes good enough to be on the team anyway. I AM the rustiest player. I didnt want to play on the team in the first place because I didnt want to be a part of a team I didnt feel was the best. but with this new team, I was willing to be a part of it since I felt like it was the best team. yall making me look real bitch right about now with switching up my mind back and forth but this is FINAL. duc/potter/reset/chris/chunk. reset stays on the team. thats my only demand. and yall mufuggas better win!
shout out to mike ross aka mike boss. you still my favorite marvel player you bastard!
People just want to see two teams face off which will get them hyped the most and that’s why most think Potter should be in there instead of reset.
This is a side event after all and all ppl want is for it to be as special as it can be, I’m pretty sure you (Soo) dropping out and Potter taking your place is not what ppl wanna see.
Soo
Duc
Chunk
Potter
Chris S.
I’m sure that’s the team most ppl wanna see to make this event really special.
Bomb…dropped…boom.
=[ i wanted soo on the team. Soo made me money last evo, and i wanted to make more this year!
I’ve been following this thread and I’m wondering now what Chris Schmidt was suppose to do? I got the feeling that he was allowed to pick team WC, which he did. I haven’t seen any post where he changed his mind. Maybe I was wrong about that?
Rawbzilla beat Jwong at Evo2k5. David Lee hasn’t beaten Jwong before.
Combofiend has at Evo2k2.
David lee beat justin in winners finals at ncr 05 I think.
david l beat wong in winners final, then justin comes back in grand. it was at tips and tricks ucla
My Bad. You are correct.
reset = the TRUTH. 4REAL
so who were the other consultants?
I believe you are!
I like the team, cause I know most of the guys. But Finesse should be on this team. I haven’t even had much words with the guy, but everytime I look at results i see
- Finesse
2-16 whoever.
Everytime I watch an FFA tourny this guy is beasting on people mentioned in this thread for about the past 6 months. Right now I’d take him in matches vs. almost every so cal player (except iron illan, he’s my hero) . Not trying to start more beef, but that just seemed like an automatic choice and I’m kinda suprised he’s not on the team.
Everyone stop putting I’m their 2cents. I realize I did also but I’m not saying anything anymore. Wizard already decided on the team. Just show and play, before he changes his mind and scrap the entire event. This is the hypest thing at evo, and to lose this would be a travesty.
I was wondering how the team orderings are going to be done and who picks which side stays on the machine while the other team switches off (assuming its a full round robin), ie A west coast player plays all 5 of east coast, then the next wc member plays all 5 etc.
It seems that there are pros and cons for being the side that stays on the machine the whole time, for example staying on that rush and if you’re on point keeping your momentum.
But there also seems to be benefits of being on a side that takes turns, ie the opposing player has to adapt fast to each new opponent’s style, and your later team members can watch and look for some weaknesses, tiring the other guy out, etc.
Seems that the order in which a team plays might have some strategic value also. Like do you want a stronger player early, to help tally up some wins for your team and get morale up, and to give other members some strategic observation time of the opponent. Or do you want your stronger members to act as the traditional anchors, etc.
I was curious if there have been any considerations on this matter, it could be the basis for some strategic plans on either side. If anything, I think the team captains (consultants or whatever- wong and schmidt) should pick their team’s playing order. As for which side stays on the machine and which side alternates, maybe some way of picking a team to make a choice (flippnig a coin or something) and the winning side can decide if they want each member to run a 5 man gauntlet or wear the opponent down (ala winning the toss and choosing to kick or receive).
You really think its gonna matter?
