I think you should split the games into different tiers and run them in order, so as to make sure the most important stuff happens. My take on this:
1st Tier = NGBC, 98/UM, XI (Evo seems to attract a lot of serious KOF heads so those get top priority)
2nd Tier = Garou, RB2, WHP, Breakers, Tenka
3rd Tier = Real Bout Special, Karnov’s Revenge (dunno if we can run this but it would be better than a lot of other stuff left), Neowave, FF Special, etc.
That’s 8 games in the top two tiers, which is probably plenty in and of itself. Remember, people will be called to official tourneys and other side stuff; I think we would need to computerize everything to have a chance at finishing 8!
I think that list is good Josh, though 8 games in 2 days since Sunday doesn’t count cause they shut down BYOC. Then again it all depends on how many people enter this year for each game. Hopefully it all works out.
I think thats a pretty good plan Josh. I like the tier idea. I’m debating on whether I should make the trip to EVO this year. I’m not sure if I’m good enough lol.
I think this is a great idea Josh, but I gotta let the cat out of the bag now…NeoWave certainly has the potential to supercede last year because I’ve been informed that some of Juarez’s top players like Hugo and Abraham sans Kane9998 are coming to EVO World…so I know NeoWave would be a good appeal…correct me if I am wrong though
I think I will axe Fatal Fury Special though…and do it if we have time…but with what I’ve been told about people like Abraham coming from Juarez, a guy coming from Monterrey Mexico, I know NeoWave would be something they would enter due to its familiarity with 2002…
